A woman has sparked a debate on social media with her "inappropriate" choice of swimwear.

While many defended her swimsuit, others - particularly angry parents - slammed it for being an overly risqué piece to wear to a waterpark.

TikTok user Kim Stram (@kstram83) started the debate by posting a clip of the woman on her TikTok. In the clip, kids and families can be seen enjoying a busy waterpark swimming pool.

It's not known if Kim recorded the video or where it was captured, but the footage focuses on one swimmer in particular: a woman wearing a flesh-colored, G-string swimsuit. In overlay text, Kim questions the skimpy swimwear choice, asking her followers: "Is this appropriate for a family water park or not?"

Take a look and decide for yourself:

She captioned the video: "Thoughts!! I don’t think its appropriate there’s kids all around her, but she looks great!"

Since being posted last week, the clip has racked up over 4 million views and thousands of comments from people weighing in on the debate.

Many leaped to the woman's defense, saying that children wouldn't notice or care what the woman was wearing - and that the only reason adults might is out of jealousy.

"Kids ain’t worried about that. They just having fun in the water," one wrote, while another agreed: "Children don't care or sexualize."

A third chimed in: "The kids don't care, the women are just concerned their husbands are looking," and a fourth questioned: "Is it appropriate to record someone in a bathing suit without them noticing?"

However, others argued that while the swimsuit looked great, it should have been reserved for a different occasion.

"That’s too much. Time and place. I wear stuff like that but I wouldn’t wear it there out of respect for others," one person commented. Another agreed: "This is something I would wear to work lol ( the club) and no I wouldn’t wear it to a family water park."

A third pointed out that if it had been a man wearing a revealing swimsuit, people wouldn't have been so accepting. "Everyone supportive yet if a man wore a skin-tight speedo with kids eye level to it they would be mad as hell," they wrote.
