A woman who has replaced her toilet paper with a bidet has sparked a discussion on social media, after revealing that guests are forced to use it too.

TikTok user Allie - who goes by the handle @lovegood_allie - shared a video of herself re-enacting how her family responded when they came to her house and found that there was no toilet paper for them to use.

In the clip that was captioned: "[Reenactment] of my family seeing my holistic lifestyle," Allie said the guest asked where the toilet paper is, to which she replied: "I don’t have toilet paper - I have a bidet."

"What the ffff? You really don’t have toilet paper," the guest then says. "Yeah, no, toilet paper doesn’t get you clean, and there's so many chemicals that are used on it. But I can show you the bidet," the TikToker answered.

Check out Allie's TikTok below:

"So sit down like normal, do your business and use this. This button controls on and the pressure of the water that’s gonna come out," Allie continued to explain. "Don’t turn the dial all the way because you will get blasted."

She said that the guest remarked that it was "weird" and requested a "napkin or a paper towel,"  to which Allie then said that she doesn’t have those either.

Toward the end of the video, the family guest decided to use the bidet anyways, and she wrote that they were so pleased with it that they chose to buy one themselves.

The TikToker also disclosed in the caption that she has "saved thousands of dollars since switching to a bidet!" - proving that it was very beneficial for her "holistic" lifestyle.

Many users shared their thoughts under the clip which ended up garnering 668.1K views and 41K likes on the social media platform.

One user questioned whether the bidet was practical and wrote: "There is no way water gets all of it away."

Another person also pointed out that toilet paper or a towel is still needed after using the tool, saying: "But after it blasts water all over me I’m going to need to dry ???"

A third user chimed in and commented: "Water only actually doesn't gets you clean, you need paper and water to fully get clean."

Another person revealed that they use a "travel bidet" and that it "sucks" not having it because they left it "after visiting a friend over the holidays".

Lastly, one more person interjected: "I’ve been a bidet user since 2020 and it’s definitely saved me during the TP crisis. Definitely saved me money. And definitely is much cleaner."
