There is nothing worse than when a shop claims it can deliver a service that it actually can't. Whether it's a delivery coming after the day you needed it, or a restaurant missing half the ingredients that they have on the menu, a failed promise is frustrating, disappointing, and can sometimes be incredibly serious.
This turned out to be the case for Sarah Hyland, who took to
to vent her frustrations at CVS pharmacy for their poor customer service after she wasn't able to pick up her vital kidney medication. The Modern Family star used her social platform to voice his displeasure to her 1.6 million followers on Monday afternoon.

Hyland, who is best known for her role as Haley Dunphy on the ABC sitcom, underwent a
in 2012 and was quick to explain how serious the issue was for her, as well as others who have undergone similar transplant surgeries.
Her tirade against the pharmacy company began in angry fashion, with the actress
tweeting:

"
Hey @cvspharmacy when you tell a kidney transplant recipient that her medication will be ready before you close and that you will notify her when it's ready to be picked up. FUCKING DO IT BEFORE YOU CLOSE. PEOPLE LIKE ME CANT AFFORD TO GO WITHOUT MEDICATION."
A lack of medication for organ recipients can have serious implications. The majority of those who have undergone the surgery are required to take medication for the rest of their lives in order to ensure that they do not suffer from any further complications.
Sarah continued her rant in another tweet, criticising the company for having the incorrect opening times on the internet.

"Also @cvspharmacy maybe put the CORRECT time you close on the internet. Just a suggestion from a long time customer who needs medication for the rest of her life."
While the majority of Twitter seemed to have sympathy for the actress, with plenty of users revealing similar experiences that they have suffered at the hands of the company, one person didn't take too kindly to Hyland, saying:

"Or you could check to see what time they close like everyone else does."
However, it seems like Sarah wasn't taking any prisoners, with the actresses clapping back to the user in spectacular fashion.

"Called at 9:02pm. They were closed. But yes you're right. I'm an idiot."
Obviously concerned by the fact that a high profile celeb was tweeting about their lack of customer service, CVS was quick to tweet Hyland back, asking for her to get in touch with them to discuss the matter.

Hyland opened up about her kidney transplant in 2012 after she suffered complications due to a condition that is
known as kidney dysplasia. The actress was blessed to have her father Edward as her organ donor, and at the time she told Seventeen: "You know that family is always going to be there for you - no matter what. My dad gave me a freaking kidney!"
While for the majority of us a shop closing early is more of an annoyance than anything else, for Hyland it could've been something more complex. As said at the start of the article: If you can't offer the
service that you're promising, don't promise it. Simple.
