With may of us doing the sensible thing and staying indoors, online shopping has become the safest and easiest method of buying anything we may need. However, online shopping has always come with its risks.
Being able to get anything sent to your house with just a few clicks may be convenient, but it also takes away your ability to "try before you buy". Now, a mom has hit out at online retailer PrettyLittleThing after buying a bodycon dress that left her chest totally exposed.
Amy Kerr purchased the black "underbust" style item for £5 ($6.25 USD), but after it arrived and she had tried it on, she realized she definitely wouldn't be leaving the house wearing it.
The mom then took to Twitter to complain to the retail giant about the fashion fail - comparing the model on the website with her own exposed experience.
She captioned the post: "PLT dresses are smart like."
The original tweet has since received over 7.4K Retweets and 87.6K Likes. Kerr posted a follow-up tweet to the retailers, asking: "@OfficialPLT can I have some free nipple covers to go with this dress".

One Twitter-user replied to Kerr, saying: "The top bit looks like it would barely cover a five year olds chest let alone an adult it’s so short [sic]".

Of course, this was a statement Kerr was happy to test herself, and Amy literally dressed her five-year-old son in the controversial outfit. And it actually fit kinda well...

"Here is the dress on a 5 year old for comparison purposes", Amy wrote alongside the image.
In subsequent tweets, Amy revealed that she did purchase the dress three sizes bigger than usual in an attempt to accommodate for her recently enhanced chest, but to no avail. She wrote on Twitter: "I bought THREE SIZES UP from my usual cos I know what they’re like"
"Even before I had boobs this wouldn’t have covered my nipples. Their sizing is a shambles," she added.
However, one Twitter-user who does own (and fit in) the dress, replied to Kerr, saying: "I have this dress and i love it".

To which Amy replied: "Looks so good on you!! I think mine was made wrong cos the cut is SO high".

Pretty Little Thing did eventually reply to Amy's tweet, writing: "Hey, we’re so sorry to see this. Please drop us a DM so we can look into this for you."

Every parent will argue that your life immediately changes once you have a child. Along with sleepless nights and a drained bank account, your responsibilities are forced to change as your number one priority becomes being a parent.
However, does that mean that parents need to "look" and "behave" a certain way? It is an age-old argument: "You can't go out wearing that, you're a mother!" or "You can go around doing that, you're a father!" But how true to life is this?
Well, one mother who was recently "mom-shamed" on social media is fitness blogger Sia Cooper.
Britney Spears, who is also a mom, recently inspired her followers with a workout vid:

Boasting over 1 million followers on Instagram, the influencer is a source of inspiration for many parents, who enjoy seeing how the mom balances her health with her parenting. However, after posting a picture showcasing her stunning body in a bikini, one commenter called Sia out - stating how she should refrain from posting such pictures because she is a mother.
The comment read: "To show your gains you don’t have to show your behind like that. You are a mother, think about what [sic] your children see your behind in your posts in the future, unfollowed."

However, Sia rightfully took umbrage with the comment, and hit back with another Instagram post, once again showcasing her figure in a bikini. She captioned the image:
"The other day, I had posted a photo of myself in this very same bikini and was told to cover up... because I am a mother. Cue the mom-shaming.
"Since when were moms supposed to hide their bodies? Since when were mothers no longer allowed to feel sexy? How do you think babies even got here in the first place?"
Rebel Wilson recently showed off her impressive weight loss in a stunning Instagram video:

"She went on to say that I should think about what my kids will think of my behind someday. You know what? I want my kids to see a mother who’s body positive. I want my kids to see a mother who’s confident in her own skin. Plus, they love my butt and use it as a bongo when I’m cooking dinner or awkwardly standing in line at the grocery store.
"There is no rule out there that states you can’t rock a bikini just because you pushed a baby out of your vagina at some point in your life. [...]"

[[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/B37XDQCJJ5o/]]
The mom continued:
"I grew up with a mom who hated her body. In fact, she also made me hate mine by nitpicking it apart and pointing out every time it had looked like I had gained weight as a teenager. I fought like hell to finally love myself and it wasn’t until a few years ago that I started wearing shorts again in public. [..]
"Sometimes, all a mother needs is to truly FEEL herself. Let’s face it: motherhood can make us feel less than sexy. It leaves us drained, depressed, exhausted, and staring into a mirror, looking at a former shell of ourselves that we barely recognize anymore. [...]
"So mamas, put on your bikinis. You’ve earned it. Every woman deserves to feel comfortable in her own skin without society’s judgy opinions.
"Let the mom-judging stop. Motherhood is already tough as it is."

Great words of advice, Sia! But what do you think? Is there a certain way parents should behave online?

A mom has been praised on social media for wearing a crop top all day to teach her daughter a valuable lesson about self-acceptance.
TikTok user Arielle, who goes by the handle Mermaid Mom Arielle on the platform, posted a video in which she explained how she was recently inspired to be more adventurous with her own clothing choices.
Take a look at Arielle's video here:In the clip, Arielle explained to her followers that she'd been trying on clothes with her child, who suddenly pointed out a crop top and said that she should wear it.
Arielle, who had always been reluctant to wear the garment out in public because of her own self-consciousness, declined. But this prompted her girl to reason out loud that this was because her mother didn't like her own body.
The mom went on to explain: "I didn't want her to know that. So I wore the crop top. And all day I tried to compliment my own body and talk to myself out loud like how I would like her to talk to her body one day.
"I was not completely comfortable all day, to be honest. But I feel like I need to get myself there so that I can be the best parent to her."
A number of other TikTok users have since taken to the comments to Arielle's post to praise the young mother for having the courage to wear what she wanted, regardless of judgment from others.
For example, one fellow parent wrote: "Good job. That is why I quit wearing makeup, for my daughter's self-esteem."
Another wrote: "That's amazing!! Great job getting positivity out in the world... especially to our young ones!"
Meanwhile, a third added: "Good job!!! I'm sure you rocked that crop top, sis!"
Another wrote: "Honey [you're] beautiful inside and out! It's good [you're] doing this for them, but also for yourself!!! Stay strong gorgeous."
So if you're also worried about your appearance, why not take a leaf out of this parent's book?

One of the biggest thrills of watching awards shows is checking out the incredible outfits worn by all the A-listers on the red carpet. This is the season where celebrities like to pull out all the stops and really embrace some crazy wardrobe choices. Sometimes these out-there sartorial decisions can pay off, and get you that extra bit of publicity, but sometimes it can totally backfire.
Even harder is trying to replicate these looks in real life, on an average Joe's budget. Try to copy one of Lady Gaga's outfits when you're going to a party, and you'll soon find that it's an almost impossible task. Some of those gowns seem to defy Newtonian physics, with straps that don't make sense, and gravity-defying skirts. If you want an example, look no further than Kim Kardashian's revealing black ensemble, which she wore at the fifth Annual Hollywood Beauty Awards.

Recently, one brave mom decided to take to Facebook to show just how hard it is to replicate Kim's iconic look. On her personal blog Knee Deep In Life, a woman named Laura recreated and modelled the design herself, posting a picture of herself next to Kim, in a side-by-side.
Laura captioned the picture: "GOOGLE GOALS ... FASHION... When they tell you it's on backwards and you say, B*TCH PLEASE!! This is fashion. Sometimes it's about accepting budgetary constraints meant you couldn't afford the whole dress, so you just work with what you got and pray your left tit doesn't pop out and start mopping the floor as you make pack lunches. [sic]"
Suffice to say, Facebook users were pretty tickled by the contrast, and took to the comment section to voice their opinions on Laura's humble effort. For example, one person wrote: "You my lady make me smile and laugh out loud daily! You just carry on being you! U wonderful human being ... life is too damn serious sometimes! [sic]"
Another commented "I literally love you. You make me laugh so much x [sic]," while one amused fan joked "You wear it so much better darling." Someone else added: "That look really suits you ... But I wouldn't wear it for the school run. love you xx. [sic]"
[[facebookwidget||https://www.facebook.com/KneeDeepInLife/photos/a.238662966548617/668075800273996/]]
Really, though, Laura had it easy. At least she didn't try to copy any of Kanye's outfits, she'd have her work cut out for her on that one!

At some point or another, most of us are likely to struggle with body issues in our lifetimes. It might just be a passing phase when you were in your teenage years, or a more pressing problem as you got older - or it could be something you're going through right now.
No matter the cause of a weight problem or insecurity, it's always hard to deal with. However, it is especially difficult for people who have just given birth, as the excess baby weight can take years to shed.
So, when Amy posted a picture of herself with a flat stomach just three months after she had her third child, people were reluctant to believe that she'd achieved the results naturally. Even worse, many people left negative comments on the pictures and insulted Amy - who is a fitness blogger - for how she looked while she was expecting.
Fortunately, she was more than prepared to stand her ground and defend her amazing transformation.
Before she shared the images of her progress following giving birth, she shared a few choice comments from followers who were inexplicably bitter about her achievements.
"You look like a whale! How can your belly be over one meter!" wrote a couple of spiteful followers.
"You are too skinny now! Eat a burger! WHY ARE YOU IN SUCH A HURRY TO GET BACK INTO SHAPE?" said others.
But, despite the contradictory messages being thrown at her from every direction, the mother-of-three spoke up about how she'd made such quick progress - and also why she doesn't need to take any rubbish from her haters: "I took care of my body, so I could move again without pain, so I could get off my medications, so I could carry my older kids without feeling like my body was falling apart."
And, by the looks of it, her actions really paid off:
"The physical results that came from eating healthy and working out was just a bonus. I was equally happy when I was 1-month pp vs now," she explained. "The only difference is that I don’t need help to take care of my kids. I can shower without having to sit on a chair. I can walk further than 5 min from my home."
And, even though Amy found it relatively easy to cut the excess baby weight, she understands that other women are under far more pressure to do so. "I feel Our society is so off sometimes," she explained. "If us moms don’t get back into shape after giving birth, we are lazy and don’t value our health."
Amy's message with the pictures was not to show that new mothers should always feel the pressure to get back into shape after having a kid, but that it is possible to have three children and have a healthy body - even if it takes a while to get there.
So, if you ever find yourself in a bad place with your body, just remember that anything is possible with a little hard work.
