British Prime Minister Boris Johson's car has been involved in a collision after a protestor targeted his convoy.

According to the Guardian, there have been no reports of any injuries caused by the incident, which took place this afternoon outside parliament.

The convoy was targeted as it departed from the Palace of Westminster with the PM inside. The demonstrator ran onto the road outside the gates to parliament, having been protesting about Turkish action against Kurdish rebels.

Footage of the incident was subsequently posted to Twitter by Steve Bray.

Watch it below:

Vehicles in the PM's convoy, namely a police motorbike and the PM's Jaguar, were forced to stop, and a support vehicle then ran into the back of the car carrying Johnson.

A large dent was visible on the rear of the Jaguar after the vehicle drove off in the direction of Downing Street.

Police officers detained the protestor and took him into the Palace of Westminster.
