50 Cent has been accused of injuring a woman at a recent performance, after appearing to throw his microphone at the concertgoer.

In a now-viral video, rapper 50 Cent can be seen appearing to lose his cool, as he hurls what TMZ reports was a malfunctioning microphone. The publication adds that the mic then hit a fan squarely on the head, leaving her with a nasty forehead injury.

The alleged incident took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, where the rapper was performing as part of his highly-anticipated "Final Lap" 2023 tour.

Video footage of the event shows 50 Cent - real name Curtis James Jackson III - taking the stage alongside YG, who can be seen in the middle of his performance. The iconic rapper was then reportedly plagued with multiple faulty microphones throughout the evening, as Fiddy's frustration reached a boiling point.

In a moment captured on camera, the rapper appears to turn and throw a microphone in the direction of a female concertgoer - with TMZ reporting that he inadvertently struck the woman in the face.

Witnesses told TMZ that the 'In Da Club' star didn't target the woman intentionally, yet the impact left her with noticeable injuries and bloodied.

A source close to the rapper commented that the woman was in a restricted area where she shouldn't have been. However, others dispute this claim. Photos later posted on theneighborhoodtalk Instagram page shows the woman with a laceration on her forehead and bloody towels wrapped around her neck.

TMZ reports that 50 Cent’s team has not responded to requests for comment.

What's more, this isn't the first time the rapper has made headlines for physical confrontations at his shows. In 2017, Fiddy found himself at the center of a scandal when he reportedly confronted a female fan who had attempted to grab him while on stage.  Ironically, the rapper later invited the same woman up to dance during his performance as a form of conciliation, Billboard reports.

This most recent incident comes shortly after a similar event involving fellow rapper Cardi B earlier this summer.

Cardi B had reportedly thrown her microphone at a fan who tossed a drink at her during a performance in Las Vegas. Though that microphone also hit an innocent bystander, Cardi B was ultimately cleared of any wrongdoing.

With 50 Cent's "Final Lap" tour still underway, fans and critics alike are keen to see how the rapper will respond to the fallout from this latest allegation.
