Congratulations are in order for American Idol star Triston Harper.
Yes, as well as hitting the high notes on the stage, the 16-year-old - who appeared as a contestant on the 22nd season of the hit reality show - has also been hitting life's high notes rapidly.

As reported by Page Six, the teenage crooner has not only announced his marriage to parrner Paris Reed but also revealed they're expecting their first child together.
The news, dropped on Facebook to his fans — affectionately known as 'harpies' — quickly made waves as he updated his relationship status to "married".
Just two days after the marriage announcement, Harper's world took another delightful turn.
His mother, Hattie Mae Sullivan, shared a heartwarming snapshot of the young couple with a positive pregnancy test. Sullivan, bursting with excitement about becoming a grandmother, took to social media to express her joy, using the hashtags “#TeamPink #TeamBlue #BlessingsonBlessings.”

"Now Everybody has congratulated me on Triston and Paris getting married but to me that is old news but now I’m bout to be a ‘G Ma," the over-the-moon mom wrote.
After sharing the good news, the teen's fans took to his comments section to wish his family the very best.
"Congratulations Triston and Paris," one fan wrote. "I hope u will always be as happy as you are today."
A second added: "Congratulations to you both and may your future be a beautiful song of two-part harmony!"
And a third added: "May your love always be as sweet and beautiful as it is today. Congratulations!"
Triston, who made a memorable impact on American Idol with his soul-stirring vocals and touching backstory, finished the competition in a respectable fifth place. His audition was particularly poignant as he shared his challenges growing up in McIntosh, Alabama, including a period of homelessness that began just after his 12th birthday.
Despite these hardships, Triston's tale is one of resilience and hope. His mother - who was just 21 when she had him and now a mother of four - has been his rock and biggest supporter. She was a fixture in the audience throughout his Idol journey, cheering him on every step of the way.
After his Idol journey ended, Sullivan wasted no time in helping her son chase his musical dreams in Hollywood.

"The night I got eliminated, she hopped on it that same night and has been getting me gigs, bookings," Harper shared with AL.com back in June. The determined mom orchestrated rehearsals and booked gigs to keep her son's momentum going while his Idol fame was still fresh.
“We went the other day and had rehearsal for the band," the teen said of his mom's support. "She put all that together to where I could be able to keep pursuing my career, and not just be waiting, while it’s still hot.”
Congratulations to the happy couple! We wish them the very best on their pregnancy journey.
