Chrissy Teigen has been praised by her followers after she published a super honest account of postpartum life following the birth of her baby girl.

Taking to Instagram, the 37-year-old posted a photo of her wearing a black slip dress, paired with a deep, salmon-colored cardigan and beige boots. Her face was covered with a black hat, and in her hand was an iced coffee - an essential for Chrissy, it seems.

Not only that, but the model also kept it as real as possible, as she tends to do on social media; not attempting to hide the wet patches seeping through her dress after lactating.

Alongside the image, she wrote: "OMW [on my way] to bandage together both my wound and 3.8-second clips of Beyonce performing in Dubai until I get a full HBO special."

Fans took to the comments to commend Chrissy, with many praising her for her "authenticity."

One wrote: "Love that you are normalizing leaking through everything in the first weeks postpartum. You wake up at night and you’re like 'Is it pee? Is it milk? Or is it sweat?' So many body fluid options. Thank you for sharing."

"The milk spots add an extra layer of authenticity to this," added another with the flame and laughing emoji.

"You just had a c-section and you are in heels? #queen," praised a third, while another commented a similar response: "The fact that you’re wearing heels and bias cut silk just days postpartum..."

Hey, you've got to respect it.

She followed up in the comments with a hilarious take on her own situation writing: "My baby: Wah, Me: Learning to edit."

The news comes just days after the mom-of-three posted a snapshot of her daughter Luna, six, and son Miles, four, who both appeared to be excited about having a little sister.

"She’s here! Esti Maxine Stephens - the house is bustling and our family could not be happier," she wrote in the caption.

"Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c-section!?", she continued.

To conclude, she thanked her fans for all the support as the family celebrates this special occasion: "We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes - we feel it all!"

Speaking to PEOPLE about the excitement of expanding their little family, John said: "We're all excited, and, you know, my kids are old enough to really be aware of what's happening, so they're really anticipating having a new sibling in their lives. And I think they'll be good at being a big sister and big brother."

Chrissy then added: "Since we did IVF, we knew probably nine days after we did the transfer that it had worked and we were pregnant. I told them very, very early.

"They knew that I was going in for the transfer, that we were going to go in and put this egg inside Mommy's belly. So they knew from the very, very beginning, and they knew there was a chance it might not work because that's happened before."

Congratulations! We can't wait to see more snapshots of little Esti!
