Dax Shepard knows how to celebrate an Emmy nod… and it involves socks and zero pants.

The 50-year-old actor marked wife Kristen Bell’s 2025 Emmy nomination with an Instagram post that’s equal parts hilarious and supportive. Bell, 44, scored a nom for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series thanks to her role as Joanne in Nobody Wants This, and Shepard had just the photo to honor the moment.

He shared a cheeky snap of Bell in their backyard, in full downward dog, rocking nothing but a pair of bright blue knee-high socks.

“People might not know everything that happens behind the scenes in order to create an Emmy nominated performance like Kristen’s,” he wrote in the caption. “This may or may not have been a part of her training, but it felt right. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!”

Naturally, Bell was also celebrating in her own way. She posted a reaction pic to Instagram showing her and series creator Erin Foster mid-Zoom session for ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) work on season two.

In one photo, both women are wide-eyed and open-mouthed with excitement. The next shows Bell snapping a shot of Foster as she wipes away tears.

Bell captioned it: “finding out I was nominated for an Emmy - finding out @erinfoster was nominated for an Emmy!!!!”

That’s right, Nobody Wants This didn’t just land Bell her nod. The show itself was nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, which means Foster also scored a nom as a producer.

Shepard jumped into the comments with his signature humor, writing: “May you only listen to 'Strut' by Steven Seagal all day long. You’ve earned it!!!!”

Bell and Shepard have been together since 2007 after meeting at a dinner party, and finally tied the knot in 2013 once same-sex marriage was legalized in California, something they waited for out of solidarity, Brides.com detailed.

They now share two daughters: Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 10.

Bell’s up against some serious talent this year, including Ayo Edebiri (The Bear), Jean Smart (Hacks), Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary), and Uzo Aduba (The Residence).

And it’s not just the ladies of Nobody Wants This getting love; Adam Brody also earned an Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series nom for his role as Rabbi Noah Roklov. He’s competing with Jason Segel (Shrinking), Jeremy Allen White (The Bear), Martin Short (Only Murders in the Building), and Seth Rogen (The Studio).

Not a bad day to be part of Nobody Wants This, honestly.
