Hailey Bieber has revealed to fans that she was hospitalized after suffering "stroke-like symptoms".
The 25-year-old American model and socialite - who married Canadian pop star Justin Bieber back in 2018 - took to Instagram on Saturday to reveal that she had been hospitalized following a scary incident earlier in the week.
Writing on her Instagram Stories to her 41.7 million followers, Hailey revealed that the medical episode occurred on Thursday (March 10) while she was eating breakfast with her husband.
She writes: "On Thursday morning, I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having [stroke-like] symptoms and was taken to the hospital."
"They found I had suffered a very small blood clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body has passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours."
Hailey did not reveal the cause of the blood clot, but did reveal that she is now home and "doing well".
The post continued: "Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I've ever been through, I'm home now and doing well, and I'm so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses who took care of me!"
The model concluded the post by writing: "Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern, and for all the support and love - Hailey."
Hailey's scary revelation comes after she revealed she would no longer speak publicly about her private life.
Last month, during an interview with The Wall Street Journal, the model said she would no longer open up about matters such as her marriage due to the fact her words continue to be taken out of context.
"It doesn’t feel worth it to me anymore when I try to have an open conversation with someone like you and then it gets taken out of context," she said, adding: "The media loves to take a tiny little blurb of something for clickbait.
"The media has always been a disgusting thing."
