Kelly Osbourne has announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
The 37-year-old former singer and presenter shared the wonderful news on Thursday (May 12), in a heartfelt Instagram post to her 2.4 million followers.
Sharing two images of her adoring the ultrasound scan pictures, Kelly wrote:
"I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why...
"I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!"
Per Metro, Osbourne was most recently publicly known to be in a relationship with 45-year-old Slipknot rocker Sid Wilson.
Their relationship was first shared with fans back in January.
Back in June 2021, Kelly revealed her desire to have a family of her own when she appeared on Jada Pinkett-Smith's Red Table Talk.
Speaking of brother Jack's three children, Kelly said: "Yes, I feel very behind. As a woman, I would have loved to be married and have children by now.
"My brother [Jack] has three daughters and I would have loved to have kids by now, but that wasn’t what was in the cards for me yet."
Kelly added: "I would have been no kind of mother at all because I was that crazy addict that was like, 'Oh yeah, I’ll stop doing drugs when I get pregnant because I have to.' Like, that’s insane that I would ever even think that."
Funnily enough, Kelly also revealed back in 2012 that if she had children, she wouldn't want to raise them in the US.
Speaking to Us Weekly, she said that she wouldn't want to have her children grow up calling her "mom".
"I don't mean this in a disrespectful way. I love America... but I couldn't stand for my child to call me 'mom,'" she revealed at the time.
Of course, Kelly was born to famous parents Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne in England, where they use the term "mum".
Whatever you want to be called Kelly - mom, mum, mama - a huge congratulation to you!
