A little over a year ago, Louis CK was accused of sexual harassment by a number of women in the wake of the #MeToo scandal. Unlike a lot of the other celebrities accused at the time, CK actually seemed to show some humility, and admitted his wrongdoings in a public statement.

"These stories are true," he said. "At the time, I said to myself that what I did was okay because I never showed a woman my d**k without asking first, which is also true. But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your d**k isn’t a question. It’s a predicament for them. The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly."

For a while after that, he stayed quiet - as many people believed he should.

In August, however, he made a controversial return to the stage, and has since gone on to offend yet more people. His most recent targets? Transgender individuals and victims of school shootings. Yes, seriously.

An audio clip of CK picking on some of the most vulnerable members of society went viral after it was shared on Twitter yesterday, urging many people to come out against some of the statements he made.

"I’m a little disappointed in the younger generation, honestly," he begins.

"I’m 51 years old, and when I was like 18, in my twenties, we were idiots. We were getting high, we were doing f***ing mushrooms and s**t. Older people were like, ‘You gotta get your s**t together and we were like f**k you!’ So I was excited to be in my fifties and see people in their twenties and be like, ‘You’re crazy!’ But they’re not. They’re f***ing boring, going, ‘You shouldn’t say that!' What are you? An old lady?"

CK is, of course, referring to younger people who are asking for an end to things like homophobia, sexism, racism, and transphobia - the very same things that he then goes on to perpetuate in his next rant.

"[Gender neutral people are] like royalty. They tell you what to call them. ‘You should address me as they/them. Because I identity as gender neutral.’ Okay. You should address me as ‘there,’ because I identity as a location. And the location is your mother’s c**t."

And then he turns his attention to victims of school shootings.

"You’re not interesting because you went to a high school where kids got shot. Why does that mean I have to listen to you? Why does that make you interesting? You didn’t get shot. You pushed some fat kid in the way, and now I’ve got to listen to you talking?"

And it takes barely any time searching to find responses such as these:

Needless to say, a lot of people aren't happy with CK - not just because he showed such bigoted viewpoints, but because he proved in this most recent set that didn't learn his lesson from previous incidents. He was never sorry for exposing himself to and sexually harassing women, he was only sorry he got caught and called out by "boring" kids.

With this most recent bombshell, though, his time might truly be up.
