The family of an estranged husband and wife have shared details regarding a chilling note that was found alongside their dead bodies.

As reported by News.com.au, the bodies of 64-year-old Mark Stillman and his wife 67-year-old Lesley Stillman were discovered by police at a home in Perth on Sunday morning (April 14).

Authorities had attended the home following calls for a welfare check by Mr. Stillman's daughter.

At this time, police believe the cause of the deaths to be a murder-suicide - with no "third-party involvement".

Now, The West Australian has reported that a family member discovered a disturbing note at the scene. According to the outlet, the note reportedly said words to the effect of: "Won’t get justice, will die with her".

No further information regarding the note has been reported at this time.

"Homicide squad detectives have concluded that there is no third party involved in this tragic incident, and WA Police will be preparing a report for the coroner," authorities informed News.com.au.

Earlier assurances from the police also emphasized that "there are no concerns for the general public's safety".

The distressing discovery unfolded with one of the bodies reportedly found inside the garage.

According to The West Australian, the couple - originally from the UK and parents to four children - had been married but had been living separately for several years, despite remaining in the same residence.

A neighbor shared with the publication that they had spoken with Ms. Stillman - who had recently returned from a vacation in Cambodia and Thailand - the day before her tragic death. "She was bouncy, she was going off to Pilates with her friends and that’s the last we saw of them," they recounted.
