Gypsy Rose claimed that her boyfriend gave her "two conditions" before agreeing to kill her mother in what was described as one of the most shocking murder cases in the world.

The relationship between Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her mother Dee Dee was a complicated one, to say the least. Throughout her life, Gypsy was falsely diagnosed with extreme medical conditions, undergoing surgeries and suffering interventions she did not need thanks to her mom's elaborate lies.

Almost immediately after Gypsy was born in 1991, her mom claimed that she had sleep apnea - a condition that causes the breathing to stop and start while a person sleeps - and within a few years, there was a string of other fabricated illnesses that followed, including leukemia and muscular dystrophy which saw the little girl bound to a wheelchair for a big portion of her life.

It was only later on that experts discovered that there was actually nothing wrong with Gypsy and instead, her mother was suffering from Munchausen by proxy syndrome, a mental disorder that sees a person fake sickness on behalf of another.

After years of living under her mother's control, Gypsy decided she was going to get a man she met on a Christian dating website, Nicholas Godejohn, to kill her.

She asked him the question knowing that Godejohn, who was her boyfriend at the time, had some mental health issues including multiple personality disorder, and had previously been in trouble with authorities after watching porn in a McDonald's while touching himself inappropriately.

However, the proposal wasn't as smooth sailing as she had hoped because he came back with two conditions.

Referring to himself as 'Victor the Vampire' - which was one of his many personalities - he said that in order to complete the task, the first condition would be that he would have to use a knife and the second was that after killing Dee Dee, he would rape her body.

In an interview with Dr. Phil, Gypsy said: "Victor said that he had conditions."

She continued: "One condition would be that it would be with a knife. The other condition is that he would have to rape her after he murdered her."

The now-31-year-old said that she was shocked at his second condition.

"I said 'Absolutely not, I am not okay with that'" she explained.

"It's either Victor's way or the highway," he allegedly told her. "Victor won't do it if you don't agree to the terms."

She then added that he didn't like the response and turned it back on her.

"He was like 'Fine, I'll make you a deal then. It's either I rape her or I rape you after,'" to which Gypsy reluctantly agreed, hoping that it would satisfy 'Victor' enough to follow through with the killing.

After reaching an agreement, he came to her house in June 2015 and stabbed Dee Dee while she was in bed.

Gypsy was in the bathroom at the time with her hands over her ears though she said that she heard her mom yelling out for her help.

The news comes shortly prior to Gypsy's official release date.

As per Newsbreak, last year, the 31-year-old made parole and is set to be released back into society on December 31, 2023.

According to In Touch Weekly, Blanchard has not enrolled in therapy services and has not come to terms with her mother's death.
