An influencer who was filming a livestream recently sparked a debate after a man refused to move out of her shot when she asked him politely.

The encounter, which many branded "sitcom worthy", occurred in the middle of a park in the UK. A fitness influencer was seemingly excited to tell her followers about her health journey but the mood shifted completely when a stranger came and sat down on the bench right behind her.

When she noticed the random guest appearance, she told her followers to wait "just a second" while she took control of the problem.

She asks: "Excuse me. I'm just filming, are you alright to go to another park bench?"

The man only had one word to respond with: "And?"

Clearly frustrated, she asks him again and he instead, tells her to move her camera.

"You're going to be online now for everyone to see you," the influencer explained, but he seemed totally unbothered by the revelation, replying: "I don't care at all."

"Look, if you don't like the answer, don't ask the question," he added.

The back-and-forth continued, as the fitness influencer doubled down on her view, stating: "My followers, I know, will not want to see you."

"Your followers? Oh so are you Jesus now?"

The hilarious interaction was posted to Twitter where thousands of people, including British celebrities, have had their say on who was right in this instance - and let's just say, the response was divided.

"She’s upset because she wasn’t 'asking', she was 'expecting.' Asking may result in a yes or no. He politely said no and she wouldn’t accept that. Cheers to the man for teaching her a lesson," commented one user.

"Hilarious... Way too much talking girl! Lol. Just move your camera," another stated.

A third even stated that he should make this a hobby to entertain the masses: "If anything I want to see more videos of him interrupting people’s TikTok videos," to which another user responded back agreeing: "I would binge-watch an entire @Netflix series of him randomly getting into the live-streams of people across all social media channels. Hey, @NetflixUK, would you mind please sorting this?"

"OK he didn't have to be so rude about it, she was being polite," someone else tweeted. "On the other hand it's a public place and he's entitled to sit where he wants. This vlogging generation need to calm down and stop being so entitled, the world doesn't revolve around their live streams!"

"Tbh the guy is obnoxious. We’re not gym, it’s a freaking park, there is plenty of space. Why interrupt person minding her own business and recording a video? I get the hate for tiktokers and so on, but he is in wrong here and purposefully looking for a trouble to make," another said, defending the woman.

"It’s wild to me how many people are on his side..." another pointed out. "They’re both handling things poorly and I would’ve given up after he said no twice but it would be easier for him to move down a bench than for her to reset her livestream."

Some couldn't bear to defend either party, claiming that they were "both in the wrong."

"Both are in the wrong. Dude is being a d*** for no reason. Lady is forgetting she’s recording videos in a public space. Both could be nicer and compromising. Bad vibes for everyone involved," one said.

"The most British argument ever I love it," concluded another, which seems to be a pretty accurate round-up of the moment.

Since it was posted on the social media platform earlier this week, it has already amassed over 21.5 million views.

Let's hope the pair managed to work out their differences and reach a compromise that suits them both.
