People were left shocked after a video of a King's Guard shouting at a woman went viral on social media.

Now, London's known for a few iconic things.

From double-decker buses to afternoon tea, all the way to red, phone boxes and the royal family.

But recently, the conversation dominating the city is the awkward interactions people seem to be having with the King's Guards.

The video in question this time was reposted by the channel @thekingsguardschannel and shows a woman dressed in a red hoodie with a white gilet walking towards a guard who is standing in front of the gates of what looks to be Buckingham Palace.

In the hopes of getting a picture with the stern-looking figure, she stands next to him and smiles while someone takes out a phone and snaps a shot.

However, as she's posing, the guard stomps his two feet before screaming in the face of the bewildered woman.

"Do not touch the King's Life Guard!" he shouts.

Have a look at the clip below:

Not only is the woman who wanted the picture looking up at the guard clearly very confused and frightened, but other unimpressed tourists also turn to look at him.

He just stomps his feet again before getting back into position with his sword by his shoulder and his gaze unwavering.

The clip, which has been viewed millions of times since it was posted back in March, garnered a lot of attention on the platform, with thousands heading to the comments to talk about the incident.

"Imagine his voice cracks," wrote one user.

"I know he secretly felt bad when had to do this," another added.

A third pointed out how scared the onlookers also looked despite not being directly yelled at: "Tell the people in the back are acting like that they got yelled at."

"I'd be so embarrassed," said another.

And this other TikTok user made a good point writing: "Regardless of rules, even as a civilian, I wouldn't want a random person in my bubble."

It is unclear whether the woman managed to get a photo with the guard before he burst her eardrum, but there's one thing we know for sure: If you're ever visiting London, do not touch any of the King's guards.
