A woman from Kentucky has declared her love for Idaho murder suspect Bryan Kohberger, claiming that he is the "perfect man" for her.

Kohberger, 28, has been in Latah County jail since January 5 after being formally charged with the fatal stabbing of four college students on November 13 in Moscow, Idaho.

Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, were found brutally murdered in their off-campus residence while two of their roommates were unharmed.

Following an investigation, Kohberger was arrested and charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary and is being held without bond.

Despite the abhorrent nature of the crime Kohberger is accused of, one woman has declared that she feels "lovesick" towards the alleged killer.

Brittney Hislope, 35, who is the mother of a teenage son, has revealed she has been sending love letters and photos of herself to Kohberger in jail.

According to reports, Hislope first shared her interest in Kohberger on January 4 with a 2,550-word post on social media, having shared several more posts including one reading: "one way to describe my feelings for him over the last week or so … is kind of like being lovesick."

She also reportedly referred to a love scene from the 1987 film The Lost Boys, adding: "I'd want to be with my love interest Bryan in those ways."

Hislope also described Kohberger as her "twin flame" in another post, writing: "With me being deprived of a love and sex life for so long, and only wanting one with someone I truly want wholeheartedly, with my feelings for Bryan I've had to be true to myself in reaching out to him.

"Some people may not understand that with Bryan being my love interest that I'm fixated on, I don't think of being with others in the ways that I think of being with him.

"Thoughts of being with him also give me sensations that I wouldn't get when thinking of someone else, because I have deep feelings for Bryan and am fixated on him although I don't know how he feels about me and if there's someone else he wants instead, even though that wouldn't be ideal for my divine masculine counterpart to be that way.

"Although when I have thoughts of being with him in certain ways it gives me bodily sensations that are real, although you may not understand what I'm meaning, I also feel a love for him that isn't just sexual in nature."

She added that his mugshot "penetrated something in [her] emotionally", however it is not the first time Hislope has fallen for someone in jail.

In 2018, Hislope spoke of her infatuation with Cody Hall, 33, who was jailed for fatally shooting a 50-year-old man in Kentucky and attacking two women with a machete.

She told the New York Post at the time: "When I say I was in love with him, I mean I was completely and truly in love with him.

"I visited him, put money in his [commissary] account, wrote him letters, and I wanted to be in a loyal, committed relationship with him."

Unfortunately for Hislope, Hall did not appear to feel the same way as it was later revealed he banned her from visiting him in jail.

Kohberger is yet to stand trial for his alleged crimes, with his next court date being scheduled for June 26.
