A woman who allegedly shot her husband after discovering that he was having an affair uttered a chilling reply to investigators questioning her motives.

Stephanie Arevalo, a 34-year-old woman from Texas, has found herself in legal trouble after reportedly shooting her husband.

The incident, which occurred in the 4500 block of Woodbend Drive in Bryan, has stirred considerable attention, as reported by KBTX.

Arevalo's arrest unfolded after she allegedly fired at her husband's leg upon catching him red-handed with an unidentified woman.

Despite her threats, she reportedly did not follow through with harming the woman involved.

Following the shooting, the victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, received treatment for his non-life-threatening injury at a nearby hospital before being discharged.

In a surprising turn of events, Arevalo herself dialed 911 and awaited authorities' arrival at the scene.

Reports indicate that she expressed awareness of the consequences of her actions.

When questioned by the police regarding her motives, Arevalo reportedly replied: "He deserved it."

Subsequently, Arevalo was booked at the Brazos County Sheriff's Office and charged with Aggravated Assault/Family Violence with a Deadly Weapon.

Despite the severity of the allegations, she was released from custody two days later after posting bond.

The victim is currently recovering from his injuries.

Cheating is never something you should consider doing to a partner, and while shooting someone out of revenge isn't the way to go about things, other people have gotten back at cheating partners in better ways.

One saga unfolded on the Unfiltered Bride podcast, where a snippet of a jaw-dropping tale was shared, capturing the attention of viewers on TikTok.

Georgie, one of the podcast hosts, unveiled the narrative, withholding names to protect privacy. The wedding proceeded as planned, with the ceremony followed by a heartfelt speech from the father of the bride.

But it was the groom's moment to speak that turned the event on its head. As Georgie recalled, he asked everyone to open envelopes distributed among them.

To the astonishment of the attendees, the envelopes contained incriminating images of the bride in compromising situations with the groom's best man. The groom then dropped the microphone, revealing the betrayal to the entire gathering.

Georgie elaborated, revealing that the groom and his family had been privy to the affair all along, strategically orchestrating the revelation to make a profound impact.

By exposing the infidelity only after the wedding festivities, the groom ensured that the bride's family, who footed the bill for the lavish event, bore the brunt of the financial burden.

Yikes.
