According to a staggering new survey, the majority of Americans don’t want Joe Biden nor Donald Trump to run for President in 2024.
The poll, conducted by YouGov with Yahoo, was taken between June 10 and June 13, 2022, and asked 1,541 people a series of political questions.
The poll was conducted amid the United States facing its highest inflation level in over 40 years, with many Americans struggling to keep up with the cost of living and gas prices.
When asked if the current POTUS should run in 2024, the survey showed that 64 percent said "no" while only 21 percent believed that Biden should have another term.
Additionally, just 15 percent responded that they were unsure about whether the 79-year-old should run for office in two years.

While the results may seem like good news for the former president, Trump's numbers weren't any better.
On the question regarding whether the 76-year-old should run for President again in 2024, 55 percent of people said no, 31 percent said yes, and 14 percent were unsure.
However, Trump’s hold over the Republican party voters was still intact with a 58 percent majority saying they would want him to run again, with just 25 percent of those surveyed against a re-run.

Biden received an even more negative verdict from the majority of poll participants who favored Trump after being asked who they would vote for if Trump and Biden ran against each other in the 2024 election.
42 percent of people said that they would vote for Donald Trump, while only 39 percent said they would vote for Joe Biden, and 20 percent said they were not sure.
While Trump's command over his party was considerably stronger compared to Biden's, he has still seen a slight drop in popularity following the beginning of the January 6, 2021 committee hearing.
The hearings have been publicly televised and have focused on Trump's culpability in the attack on the US Capitol, and allegations have been made that he ordered Mike Pence to overturn the 2020 election results, which he has denied.
About 36 percent of voters polled who were in favor of Biden's 2024 run watched the January 6 hearings live, and 24 percent only watched the news coverage.
Meanwhile, 73 percent who said no to a 2024 Trump run watched the January 6 hearings live, and 59 percent followed a news coverage.
Per ABC News, Trump responded to the committee hearings that were investigating him at a religious gathering in Nashville, Tennessee, saying: "There’s no clearer example of the menacing spirit that has devoured the American left than the disgraceful performance being staged by the ‘unselect’ committee."
"They’re con people. They’re con artists. Every one of them is a radical left hater, hates all of you, hates me even more than you, but I’m just trying to help you out," he added.
