The man with a mullet and glasses at the Coronation of King Charles III has released a video insisting that he isn't Meghan Markle in disguise.

The world gathered to watch the crowning of King Charles III on Saturday (May 6), and despite the typical British weather, it all went seemingly well.

King Charles is the oldest person in history to ever be crowned King of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth at the age of 74.

Controversially, portions of the British aristocracy weren't invited to the Coronation but some peculiar celebrities were - such as Katy Perry and Lionel Richie.

But there was one man in the crowd that got everybody talking, and it's all thanks to his amazing hairdo and mustache.

Many people online theorized that this could be Meghan Markle in disguise, despite it being announced that she would be remaining in the US as her son Archie's birthday fell on the same day as the Coronation.

The man, who was seated beside Andrew Lloyd Webber, has now taken to TikTok to explain exactly who he is, finally putting the confusion to bed.

Sir Karl Jenkins is a Welsh composer whose music is pretty famous, but it's one of those times where you need to hear it to recognize it.

In his TikTok video, Jenkins said: "I understand there's been a lot of interest in me since I appeared at the Coronation."

"I was quite surprised that some people thought I was Meghan Markle in disguise," he continued, as he joked that he had seen suggestions that he was there to steal the Crown Jewels.

"I look this way all the time," he laughed, before explaining that his neck decorations were given to him after he was knighted due to his work in music.

He went on to explain that he has had his amazing mustache since he was 18 years old as it was "very trendy then".

Jenkins concluded: "So that's me. Nothing sinister about it or surprising at all."

It would seem that not everybody who viewed the TikTok was sold on his story, as one person wrote: "This is just what Meghan Markle in disguise would say."

A second added: "I've never seen you and Meghan Markle in the same room, sir," while a third joked: "[I'm] still not convinced, the resemblance with Markle is uncanny."

If you still aren't entirely sure who he is, you can listen to arguably his most recognizable piece of music, Palladio, here.

Are you sold that it wasn't Meghan Markle in disguise yet?
