A viral video has hilariously documented the moment a Southwest Airlines pilot threatened to land the plane if passengers didn't refrain from sharing nude images via AirDrop.
Ah, the wonders of technology...
The video, which was posted late last week, was taken by a passenger on a flight to Cabo, Mexico, and has already been viewed more than two million times.
The incident was apparently caused by a passenger (or passengers) sharing nude images via Apple's AirDrop function - which allows users to wirelessly share files and data from their device to other Apple users who have the function active on their device.
It seems the image-sharing was enough to cause a scene amongst Apple users, and whoever decided to snitch to the pilot clearly made him switch into strict dad-mode.
Check out the post below:In the video, the pilot can be heard starting with: "So here's the deal, if this continues while we're on the ground I'm gonna have to pull back into the gate, everybody's going to have to get off."
Continuing in his matter-of-fact tone, the pilot states: "We're going to have to get security involved and this vacation is going to be ruined."
In the background, a woman audibly gasps and says: "Oh, no." Clearly, she was in no mood to sacrifice her Cabo trip. No, not today.
"So, you folks, whatever that AirDrop thing is, quit sending naked pictures and let's get yourself to Cabo," the TikTok finishes.
After viewing the video on loop, it begins to feel reminiscent of a very Modern Family-esque situation, something all enthusiasts of the show would probably agree with - the pilot is giving major Jay Pritchett vibes.
Of course, it didn't stop there, because everyone knows the real fun starts in the comments section.
One user evidently felt the pilot's message reminded her of a strict parent, writing: "This feels like my mom turning around in the car to me and my twin sister 'IF YOU 2 DON'T STOP I SWEAR TO GOD...' [crying laughing emoji]"

While another commented: "I'm gonna turn this plane around and everyone's vacation will be ruined. Haha major dad vibes."

"This is like a school bus driver on a Friday [crying laughing emoji]," someone else chimed in.

A further user said: "He clearly [said] not to do it on the ground... once it's wheels up it's game time!"

And this user has a point, technically the pilot didn't say anything about AirDropping mid-air - but that's probably material for another viral TikTok. I guess we better watch this space.
