An audio has revealed the chilling question a Florida dad asked after catching his own wife having sex with his son.
On July 26, 2024, David Yates walked in on his 34-year-old wife, Alexis Von Yates, engaging in sexual activity with his then-15-year-old son while they watched a horror movie.
According to the arrest affidavit, the teen told police that his step-mom said she was sexually frustrated because "she had not had sex in two weeks and she was on her period".
They then started making out, which was when the older woman allegedly told the boy: "I wish you were 18, because you’re not old enough," before having sexual contact with him.
Chilling question David asked after walking in on wife and son
Alexis and David got married in 2017 and have two children, with both having kids from previous relationships.
The father, who is a lineman, was working the night shift when he came home and found his wife and son completely naked on the couch.
Law&Crime Network revealed that he saw his son running to the bathroom and yelled: "What the f*** is going on?" before he started "throwing things".
It has also been alleged that he called Alexis, who is a former nurse, a "c***" and accused her of being a "child predator".
The dad then drove his son to his grandparents' house. On the way, he bought beer and told the boy he had "ruined his life" and to "never contact him again".
Alexis reportedly told David that his son, who is three years below the legal age of consent in Florida, reminded her of him when he was younger.
She also alleged that the child victim didn't want to stop after the two began kissing and engaging in oral sex. However, the teen disputed this, telling his father that she was moaning to him and telling him to keep going.
It was reported that the dad did not call the police. Instead, a concerned family member anonymously reported the incident.
Alexis was arrested on November 6, 2024, before losing her single-state nursing license shortly afterward.
The Florida Department of Health said in a statement: "Nurses are placed in a position of trust. Therefore, it is imperative that they demonstrate good judgment and good moral character.
"Ms Yates’ decision to engage in sexual activity with a minor child and/or her decision to engage in oral and penetrative sex indicates that she lacks the good judgement and moral character necessary to be a registered nurse," they added.
On September 16, 2025, Alexis was sentenced to two years in prison.
She was initially charged with sexual battery by a person in familial authority, but the plea deal reduced the charge to lewd and lascivious battery on a child between the ages of 12 and 16.
According to the New York Post, she was ordered to serve 24 months in state prison, followed by two years of community control and 10 years of probation as a registered sex offender.
The victim's biological mom attended the sentencing hearing and slammed the former health professional as an "incestuous pedophile" who groomed her son.
She also said Alexis was a "coward" who had no guilt for her "despicable actions".
Alexis was ordered not to have any contact with the victim before she was taken out of the courtroom.
