A man has been arrested after he began bleeding from his head due to a hair transplant, and refused to vacate a plane.

Eugenio Ernesto Hernandez-Garnier, 27, was reportedly bleeding from a hair transplant after undergoing cosmetic procedures in Las Vegas, as reported by the Metro.

He and his wife, Yusleydis Blanca Loyola, 32, boarded a flight to return home to Las Vegas after undergoing cosmetic procedures.

The couple had flown to Miami after Hernandez-Garnier’s hair transplant and Loyola's breast lift and liposuction.

Passengers on the flight raised alarms about Hernandez-Garnier's bleeding scalp, prompting flight attendants to request that the couple leave the aircraft.

However, the pair refused, leading to a tense standoff that escalated as officers were called to intervene.

The airline staff were concerned about the condition of Hernandez-Garnier's head wound and potential contamination from body fluids.

Hernandez-Garnier reportedly informed the crew that he did not have fresh bandages to properly cover the wound.

During the incident, Loyola began live-streaming the confrontation on TikTok, where she voiced her distress to viewers, per NBC Miami.

"You guys know I’ve got [a] breast lift, arm lipo. I can’t even walk. Call 911, we are being discriminated against and abused," she said.

An officer was heard warning Hernandez-Garnier: "If you don't get off, they're going to grab you and they're going to pull you off."

Hernandez-Garnier, concerned about further injury, responded: "If they take me off, they're going to hurt me."

As officers attempted to remove Hernandez-Garnier, he cried out in pain, with his wife exclaiming: "Look, he's recently operated on, he's just been operated on!"

Loyola also resisted, shouting at officers to leave her phone alone and expressing concern for her recent surgery: "My breasts!"

After their removal from the flight, Hernandez-Garnier claimed that he had shown documentation to the flight attendant proving he was cleared to fly, but the staff dismissed it.

"She tells me you either go out, or I’m gonna call the police. I said, call the police, because that’s injustice," he said via NBC Miami.

"I paid my flight. I don’t have nothing illegal in my packet. Everything is fine."

The couple was eventually arrested and taken to a medical facility for evaluation before being booked into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Hernandez-Garnier’s mugshot showed his scalp bleeding after the bandages were removed.

According to Miami-Dade County police spokesperson Argemis Colomé, the situation could have been avoided if the couple had complied with the officers’ requests.

"This could have all been avoided if they would have just followed the commands or the request of the officers to vacate the aircraft," Colomé stated.

American Airlines issued a statement regarding the incident: "During boarding of American Airlines flight 1858 on Aug. 19 with service from Miami (MIA) to Las Vegas (LAS), two customers became disruptive and were non-compliant with crew member instructions.

"Law enforcement responded and removed both customers from the aircraft. We thank our crewmembers for their professionalism and apologize to our customers for the inconvenience."
