A body language expert has examined D4vd's behavior in a now-deleted livestream that was shared after it was revealed that a teen was found dead in his car.
The body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez was discovered on September 8, 2025, in the front trunk of a Tesla registered to the 20-year-old singer.
The vehicle had been parked in the Hollywood Hills for several weeks before being towed, leading investigators to believe Hernandez had been deceased for some time before her body was discovered.
As the investigation continues, disturbing details surrounding her relationship with the artist, whose full name is David Anthony Burke, and his behavior in a now-deleted livestream have raised significant concerns.
Body Language Analysis of D4VD’s Livestream Behavior
A body language expert, Dr. G Explains, analyzed D4vd’s actions during a livestream he had with the teen before her death.
The YouTuber observed a clip where the 'Romantic Homicide' singer placed his hands on the teen's shoulder, noting that this gesture could be indicative of “closeness” or even “a subtle means of control, depending on the nature of their relationship.”
He also highlighted that the couple appeared comfortable showing their connection in front of others, suggesting that their relationship was more than just a casual acquaintance.
“And while this body language alone is not enough to say specifically the nature of the relationship, or if it was an inappropriate relationship, this does indicate that they're more than just casual acquaintances," Dr. G explained.
“This is not the type of body language you typically show someone you barely know.”
Signs of Discomfort and Regret
Dr. G pointed out several moments that indicated discomfort from D4vd during the livestream.
Specifically, when the 'Here With Me' musician said: “I media trained you,” the expert noted that he withdrew his lips, a common sign of regret or discomfort after making a statement.
“It’s a reaction to what he just said. Maybe it was an impulsive thing, or maybe it was something he regrets saying,” Dr. G speculated.
Later in the stream, Hernandez made a comment about the “controversy” of D4vd allegedly committing assault, prompting him to withdraw further.
“You see how he lets go and leans away,” Dr. G observed.
“This is an automatic reaction, creating distance."
"She thinks it’s funny, but there's an immediate reaction from him; he needs to gain distance from that," he said, adding that there’s clear discomfort from him, even though he’s "smiling".
Request to Delete the Stream Raises Red Flags
As the livestream continued, D4vd asked fans to “delete everything,” which Dr. G identified as a more "serious" moment for him.
Despite the 15-year-old not taking the request seriously, D4vd seemed genuinely uncomfortable.
“When people try to hide, they tend to be more serious,” Dr. G said.
He also shared that at this point, the singer is sitting further away from Hernandez, and his lip tuck suggests he might be "regretting" something he said.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has yet to determine Hernandez’s cause of death.
D4vd has not been named as a suspect, but the discovery of the teen's body in his car has led investigators to search his Hollywood Hills property for evidence, particularly looking for any signs of foul play or links to Hernandez’s death.
Reports indicate that several items were recovered during the search, and images showed D4vd and his manager removing large boxes from the property afterward.
D4vd, who was in the midst of his Withered World tour, canceled all remaining US tour dates, as well as forthcoming European and UK performances.
His planned appearance at the Grammy Museum was also canceled, and Interscope Records suspended all promotional activities related to the artist.
Hernandez’s heartbroken family has spoken out about the overwhelming grief they are feeling. “I’m just trying to stay positive. I’m just trying to move forward," her brother, Matthew Rivas, said.
"My mom’s grieving really bad.
"My dad’s grieving really bad.”
A GoFundMe campaign for the late teen's funeral has raised over $24,000.
