Candace Owens has revealed a series of text messages she says were sent to her by Charlie Kirk before he was shot and killed.
The 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder was killed on September 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University.
Moments before the shooting, he was responding to a question about gun violence. When asked: "Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years?" he replied: "Too many."
The questioner then stated there had been five and asked about the total number of mass shooters. "Counting or not counting gang violence?" Kirk responded before the fatal shot rang out.
On Tuesday (May 5), the 37-year-old took to X to share what she described as personal messages from the conservative activist sent in the days leading up to his death.
"Since the week leading up to Charlie’s death, I have had vivid dreams. They have been unceasing," she wrote in the caption. "I wish he were alive so I could tell him that I don’t doubt him anymore and that it weighs so heavily on my heart that I didn’t see it sooner."
"There is a deep sense I have that I wasn’t meant to see it sooner, but it weighs on me nonetheless."
"They will not get away with what they did to him. Neither will all of you vultures who are tried to assist them in the cover up," she added.
In the alleged text, Kirk appeared to reflect on his own mortality to Owens, telling her that he doesn't know if he will "live to see the end of this revolution".
"I believe you were the piece god meant me to meet that will finish the fight," he told her. "Since the beginning of tpusa I knew in my gut that I might get wiped out at any time."
"I cannot explain it...hut I dream about it all the time...like all the time," he said, before adding: "Anyway thats depressing convo for another [time]."
Owens responded by saying: "That is so weird...More a fear manifestation than an actualization."
Kirk replied: "Not really afraid of it but I'm just telling."
Kirk was shot in the neck by a single bullet fired from a nearby rooftop during an outdoor campus debate in Orem, Utah.
A 22-year-old suspect, Tyler James Robinson, later surrendered to police and has been charged with aggravated murder, with prosecutors seeking the death penalty. The FBI has said evidence indicates he acted alone.
Despite this, Owens has repeatedly questioned the official account, suggesting the possibility of a wider conspiracy and even foreign involvement.
Her claims come as she continues to dominate online discourse with her content, including her recent video series targeting Erika Kirk, the late activist’s widow, who took over leadership of TPUSA after his death.
The series has been heavily slammed by figures across conservative media such as Ben Shapiro, who blasted: "As a person who doesn’t often use the adjective 'satanic' what Candace is doing right now is absolutely satanic to Erika Kirk," per Hollywood Reporter.
