Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk has spoken out about headlines constantly "lying" about her in a recent podcast episode.
The wife of the late far-right social media personality Charlie Kirk has criticised the media for their portrayal of her character, on Wednesday's (April 29) episode of The Charlie Kirk Show.
In particular, Kirk has called out comedian and content creator Druski, real name Andrew Desbordes, after he wore white makeup and mocked her in a skit, posted online in March.
Druski faced intense backlash following the release of the video, which wasn't his first in white makeup, as people questioned why he would make fun of a widow.
In contrast, others argued that it could be seen as the same as a white comedian being in blackface.
But Kirk has now addressed the viral video for the first time, as it has garnered over 300 million views across all social media platforms.
Speaking on The Charlie Kirk Show, the mother-of-two claimed: "Every morning I wake up to a new headline lying about me.
"I have comedians dressing up in whiteface. I have people saying I'm not fit to be CEO. And I have Candace Owens claiming I murdered my husband. And the list goes on and on and on."
But she wasn't done ranting there, as she went on to explain: "There is a serious epidemic of dehumanization plaguing this country.
"The most unthinkable tragedies have now become commonplace in our daily headlines."
Kirk began Wednesday's episode by talking about the attempted assassination of Donald Trump at Saturday's White House Correspondents' Dinner.
A video of her following the shooting did the rounds online, as she was visibly shaken and in tears as security escorted her from the Washington Hilton.
She could be heard saying: “I just want to go home. I just want to go home.”
Later in the podcast, she claimed that culture in the USA has shifted to a place where "having an opposing viewpoint" is a "moral crime worthy of punishment."
Kirk went on, claiming she has been in "quite literal hell these past seven months," following the untimely assassination of her husband at an event held at Utah Valley University.
"If you strip someone of their humanity long enough, you will arrive at the chilling conclusion that they don't deserve to exist at all," she stated.
The comedian is known for parodying all types of people and situations in skits across his social media platforms, and Kirk has been the latest focus.
In this video, the comedian wore prosthetics and held a mock press conference about the war in Iran.
He was also interviewed while holding a bible, attending a fitness class, and getting a "sweet cream foam chai iced matcha" while going through a drive-thru.
Kirk wasn't named explicitly, as the video was titled: “How Conservative Women in America act.”
Druski's character, which many believed mocked Kirk, could controversially be heard saying: “We have to protect all men in America, especially all white men in America.”
