Donald Trump has declared that he might have to leave the United States if he is defeated by Joe Biden in the upcoming presidential election.

Per the Independent, President Trump made the assertion while addressing his supporters at last night's Make America Great Again campaign rally in Macon, Georgia.

Speaking to the crowd, the 74-year-old stated that Joe Biden was the "worst candidate in the history of presidential elections", and that the prospect of losing to the former vice president is making him consider his future in the US.

Watch President Trump slam Biden and say he might "have to leave the country" if he loses:

Bashing the 77-year-old Democratic presidential nominee, Trump frequently referred to Biden as "Sleepy Joe", before telling the crowd:

"Can you imagine if I lose, my whole life, what am I going to do? I am going to say I lost to the worst candidate in the history of politics?

"I am not going to feel so good, maybe I will have to leave the country, I don’t know."

The POTUS' routine certainly delighted the crowd, who erupted in laughter.

Moments before making the comments, Trump - who revealed he had tested positive for Covid-19 just 15 days ago on October 2 - mocked Biden's rally earlier in the day in Michigan.

Watch Trump continue to make the crowd laugh as he takes aim at Joe Biden's face mask:

Cracking more jokes, Trump mocked Biden's socially distanced crowd, saying: "It would be impossible to catch anything if you were in one of those circles because you're so far away."

The President then joked about Joe Biden's face masks, adding: "And the mask is always so large, y'know, it covers the whole face."

Earlier at his rally, Trump called for Biden and his family to be "locked up".

Being cheered on by his supporters, Trump declared: "That is a corrupt family. ‘Lock them up.’ You should lock them up, lock up the Bidens, lock up Hillary, lock them up."

In response to Trump's speech, many Twitter users slammed the president for performing a "comedy act".

One Twitter user wrote: "This is so sad. He's doing a stand up comedy act. The President of the United States is a stand up comic. The world is watching us and laughing. Im not laughing anymore. I am [embarrassed] to be an American."

Meanwhile, another person Tweeted: "A f’ing comedy show! Can’t get rid of this guy fast enough."

Meanwhile, speaking at Southfield's Beech Woods Recreation Center in Michigan, Joe Biden said to his supporters during his 30-minute speech that the US has no place for hate.

Per The Detroit News, Biden said: "Hate never goes away. It only hides.

"It never goes away. And if you give it oxygen, it comes out from under the rocks and grows.

"We need to be clear, from the president on down in this country: There is no place for hate in America. It will not be tolerated."
