A forensic expert has weighed in on the death of Jeffrey Epstein, claiming he has found proof that his death was a cover-up.
Epstein passed away on August 10, 2019, with the official reports stating that he died by suicide in his prison cell.
However, popular YouTube channel Dr. G Explains has weighed in, adding fuel to the claims that Epstein's death was suspicious.
Dr. G Claims Epstein's Death Is Suspicious
One of the most explosive claims centers on surveillance video dated August 11, 2019 - just hours after Epstein was found dead in his cell at New York’s Metropolitan Correctional Center.
Officials had previously stated that the relevant camera systems weren’t functioning properly that night, making any footage from inside or near Epstein’s cell impossible to obtain.
But according to the forensic psychologist, that explanation doesn't hold up. He argues that footage from a key angle - one that would have captured any individuals approaching Epstein’s cell - should exist based on the layout of the prison and how the DVR system operated.
Yet that footage hasn’t been released.
Gaps in surveillance and a missing “third camera”
The psychologist also points to what he calls “suspicious gaps” in surveillance coverage, specifically during two major incidents: July 23, when Epstein was reportedly found with injuries in his cell, and the night of his death on August 10.
Internal emails released alongside other documents reference a “third camera of interest” tied to a working system.
That camera, he claims, could contain footage from as early as July 23 - contradicting previous statements from authorities that no useful recordings were available from that time period.
These unexplained omissions have only fueled speculation that key footage might have been intentionally withheld or never properly documented.
In the video, he watches the surveillance footage outside of Epstein's cell and notices that the time on the footage skips from 11:00PM on August 10 to 01:00AM on August 11.
Not only that, but once the footage hits 02:00AM, it then jumps to 09:00AM. What happens in that time is unknown.
Autopsy findings and medical red flags
The video also raises concerns about Epstein’s autopsy, highlighting fractures in his neck that wouldn’t typically occur from the type of hanging described in the official report.
In addition, the psychologist points to medical notes taken shortly before Epstein’s death that documented arm weakness and numbness - raising doubts about whether he was physically capable of carrying out the act himself.
