A judge and her former classmate who previously won the hearts of social media users have sadly had yet another reunion.

Back in 2015, Miami Judge Mindy Glazer went viral after she immediately recognized a former middle school classmate when he appeared in front of her as a defendant

At the time, Arthur Booth had been arrested for charges of burglary, grand theft, reckless driving, and more. However, when he appeared in front of Glazer for a bond court appearance, nobody could have predicted what happened next.

In the now viral video, Judge Glazer asked Booth: "Did you go to Nautilus for middle school?"

The realization that he was standing in front of his former classmate resulted in Booth breaking down in tears.

During the heartwrenching reunion, Glazer told the courtroom that Booth was "the best kid in middle school" and even revealed that they used to play soccer together.

The judge then remarked: "What's sad is how old we've become."

The former classmates made headlines once again upon Booth's release, as the judge hugging him and told him: "Try to get a job. Stay clean. You're going to do something good for somebody else."

Speaking in 2016, Booth told CBS News: "I know where I could've been, but I'm not giving up on life. It's just a new lease on life for me right now."

Tragically, Booth and Glazer have had yet another courtroom reunion - and it's one nobody wanted to see.

Earlier this week, Booth appeared in court once again - this time for a string of charges related to robberies and break-ins, per Inside Edition. And in a tragic twist of fate, the judge in the hearing was Glazer once again.

Seemingly so embarrassed by the situation, Booth couldn't even look Glazer in the eye.

A clearly emotional Judge Glazer - voice shaking - recused herself from hearing Booth's case due to their connection.

"I can hear your case. I'm going to get another judge to hear it, okay?" she said.

Sounding dejected by once again seeing her former classmate in front of her, Glazer left him with the parting words: "Hope things work out for you better."

The judge who took over from Glazer ordered that Booth be held without bond, as the defendant pleaded not guilty to all charges against him.
