In a chilling incident in Longview, Washington, a domestic dispute turned deadly, leaving a couple dead and their community in shock.
Juan Antonio Alvarado Saenz, 38, and Cecilia Robles Ochoa, 39, allegedly inflicted fatal injuries on each other during a fight in their home.
The Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office reported that the police responded to a shooting call on October 31 to find Alvarado Saenz and Robles Ochoa lifeless in their kitchen. Authorities declared them dead at the scene.
At the time of the altercation, the couple's 11-year-old child was in another room, distracted by video games and wearing headphones - blissfully unaware of the unfolding tragedy.
The child, who did not witness the violent act, later found his lifeless parents and called 911 to report the situation.
Investigations revealed that Alvarado Saenz suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest, while Robles Ochoa succumbed to both gunshot and stab wounds.

Police recovered a pistol and a knife at the scene, noting that the firearm had been stolen from Alvarado Saenz’s employer and was unaccounted for until the night of the incident.
Further inquiries by detectives uncovered that the couple had been experiencing relationship issues and were contemplating separation. Despite extensive interviews and the collection of evidence, police found no indication of third-party involvement. The investigative report concluded that both individuals were engaged in mutual assault, but authorities could not determine who initiated the violence.
As the local community is left reeling from the incident, the future care and welfare of the child - whose identity remains protected - is a pressing concern, with reports that a GoFundMe has been launched at this time.
