A Florida Sheriff revealed how disturbed he was by the alleged actions of Malia Nummerdor with her family dog.
The mom of two has been accused of performing a sex act on her family's dog by her husband, who took to Facebook to make the claims.
The Florida parent was arrested and charged after her husband reported the alleged crime to police, claiming to have photo and video evidence of the incident.
Malia Nummerdor, 38, was arrested on September 15 in Punta Gorda, Charlotte County, after her husband's claims about the pet, believed to be named Ranger.
The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office detailed in an arrest report that Erik told investigators that he secretly installed two security cameras in the family's home.
Now, a sheriff has admitted how the case has made him feel.
Speaking about the woman from Punta Gorda, he opened up about allegedly discovering she was caught on video engaging in a sexual act with the dog.
Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell admitted in a statement that he was appalled by what he had seen and her response afterward.
He said: "There are only a few times in my career that I have been at a loss for words. This is one of those times.
"I simply cannot comprehend this behavior. No animal should ever be subjected to this kind of conduct, and you can be sure that we will take action when we learn about it here in Charlotte County.
"And then to smile in the mugshot? I don’t know what there is to smile about when you’ve been arrested for something as disgusting as this," he stated.
On Tuesday (September 15), police interviewed her about the video, and she reportedly acknowledged that she was the person seen with the dog.
However, she denied having sexual contact with the animal and claimed she had simply been petting it.
According to authorities, the woman was also unable to explain some of the actions depicted in the footage, with officers describing her answers as contradictory.
Malia's social media accounts contain pictures of her with her husband over the years. The couple married in 2023 and share two sons.
The Florida mom alleged that Erik installed the cameras without her knowledge and accessed her social media accounts to post images and videos.
She claimed the recordings were made in 2024 and that Erik had previously threatened her with the same videos.
Erik claimed that he was trying to find out who was stealing money from a coin jar, and instead found a disturbing video of his wife with the dog when reviewing the footage.
The Facebook page listing accusations against the Florida mother is still public and being updated, with old photographs showing her with multiple different dogs.
