The White House has confirmed that President Joe Biden is doing well after he was recorded falling off his bike.

As reported by Fox News, the 79-year-old POTUS took a tumble on Saturday (June 18) while enjoying a bike ride in Delaware alongside his wife, Dr. Jill Biden.

Unfortunately, Biden - who enjoys cycling during his downtime as President - got his foot caught in his pedal as he approached a group of reporters and members of the public. As a result, the President fell to the ground in front of shocked onlookers.

In video footage of the incident, Biden can be heard saying, "I'm good" before getting up.

Videos of the concerning moment can be seen in the tweets below:

In a statement from the White House, it has been confirmed that the POTUS is okay after taking the scary fall.

"The President said, his foot got caught on the pedal while dismounting and he is fine," a White House official said, before confirming: "No medical attention is needed."

The official then added: "The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family."

Fox News also reports that Biden was happy to interact with the crowd after taking the tumble, even taking the time to talk to a small child who asked him what it was like to be president.

Following his tumble, Biden bent down to greet a child who was waiting along the president’s route in Rehoboth Beach and asked him what it’s like to run the country.

"Oh it’s like any other job," Biden told the young girl. "Some parts are hard."

Biden then reportedly took a photo with her, as she told him that she wanted to be president one day.

Although he reportedly didn't answer any questions about his upcoming meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, the President did express his happiness over the Senate's progress with regard to gun control.

After speaking to the crowd, Biden was able to mount his bicycle and ride away without an issue. "Alright guys, see ya," he told the crowd.
