Trump has shown a remarkable ability to shake off political disasters that would have buried most traditional politicians, yet even the former businessman has been unable to free himself fully from the shackles of some - most notably the ongoing investigation into members of his campaign team's alleged links to Russian officials and the President's own chequered past with women.

The former businessman attempted to explain away comments he apparently made to Billy Bush; "I just start kissing them [...] It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the p***y. You can do anything." As nothing more than locker room talk.

Yet it seems that the extent of his archaic, and altogether alarming attitude towards women is to be an ongoing issue, and now Trump has found himself the butt of yet another internet joke, after footage of him seeming to lean in for a goodbye kiss with Hope Hicks, only for the latter to turn away and leave him momentarily suspended, lips akimbo, emerged online.

And it wasn't long before the ridiculing began.
