A Flordia woman has been arrested after threatening to get McDonald's staff "by any means necessary".

As per the New York Post, the incident took place in McDonald’s in Vero Beach, Florida, last week after 19-year-old Maguire Marie Mclaughlin was refused a sachet of dipping sauce. According to a report obtained by The Smoking Gun, she subsequently vowed to get the sauce "by whatever means necessary."

It is not known what other fast food items she ordered from the menu.

At around 4:00 am on New Years Day, police were called to the McDonald's drive-thru where Mclaughlin was shouting profanities at the server, claiming that she had not received the entirety of her meal.

Mclaughlin, of 2503 2nd St. SW, Vero Beach, was under the impression that dipping sauce would be included at no extra charge.

The police report from the Indian River County Sheriff's Office read: "The employee advised Mclaughlin that dipping sauce cost 25 cents."

"Mclaughlin further stated that she would be getting the sauce by whatever means necessary, however, could not specify what she meant by that."

The McDonald's employees at the scene allegedly were frightened for their personal safety.

After police arrived at the scene, Mclaughlin was arrested and taken into custody for disorderly conduct. As per the NY Post, officers had to put her into mechanical restraints because she kept "locking her legs refusing to walk forward."

Police said that they could smell alcohol on Mclaughlin's breath after taking her into custody.

Mclaughlin is far from the first person to be arrested after an incident at McDonald's. This man was arrested after he tried to trade marijuana for fast food and last year, police launched a manhunt after a man released a giant rat in a McDonald's branch.
