The cause of death for 30-year-old YouTube sensation and bodybuilder Jo Lindner, known to his fans as Joesthetics, has been revealed.

As VT reported previously, the popular fitness star is believed to have died in the arms of his girlfriend following an abrupt onset of unexplained neck pain.

Joesthetics, whose magnetic persona and commitment to bodybuilding captivated a massive online following, had garnered 5.8 million Instagram followers and racked up over 500 million views on his YouTube channel.

A few weeks prior to his untimely death, the German fitness guru had candidly spoken to fellow YouTuber Bradley Martyn about his worries over overtraining, given a rare muscular disorder he had.

His condition, known as rippling muscle disease, makes muscles overly sensitive to movement and pressure.

Expressing his fear of potential complications from this condition, Lindner stated: "The heart is also a muscle, that’s my biggest concern that what if I get such a bad cramp that my heart gets a cramp."

This chilling statement now casts a somber light on the unexpected death of the YouTube star, who according to a social media post by his girlfriend, Nicha, died from an aneurysm.

Sharing her grief on Instagram, Nicha, penned: "Jo is the best place everyone. Yesterday his past away by aneurysm.. I was there with him in the room."

Recounting their last moments together, Nicha poignantly shared how the couple had shared an intimate moment of connection before planning to head to the gym. Lindner had given her a necklace and they had spent time in each other's arms, she revealed.

Nicha further stated: "He was in my arms.. then this is just happening too fast.. 3 days ago he kept saying that he had pain in his neck .. we didn't really realize it… until it was too late." The unexpected pain in Lindner's neck, now understood to have been a precursor to the aneurysm, was tragically overlooked until it was too late.

In her emotional tribute, Nicha celebrated Lindner's undeniable dedication to his fans, underlining the time he would spend responding to comments because he truly cared for his followers as individuals. She lovingly referred to her late boyfriend as "amazing", highlighting his passion to help others on their fitness journeys.

Paying tribute to his late friend, fellow bodybuilder Noel Deyzel wrote on Instagram: "With all of this, I knew Jo would want us all to just keep going and pushing.

"He always said to me 'keep going brazzer, do more, work harder' in his strong German accent. That's what he lived for man, he pushed so many of us to be our best without expecting anything in return. He genuinely cared. So bros please just keep going and keep pushing for Jo."
