People furiously urge groom to divorce wife after seeing the ‘gross’ act she pulled on their wedding day
After a bride went viral for pulling a silly stunt that some people online have labelled as "gross", social media users have urged her new husband to file for divorce already.
The playful joke she made, despite seeming to go down well with the crowd in attendance, divided opinions online, with some people calling it a "major red flag".
In the since-deleted video, German bride Nina Lingstroem pulls her wedding dress apart at her crotch to reveal her underwear underneath while standing with her new husband and more than ten of his groomsmen.
At least the bride's new husband and his gang of friends found the flashing funny
While the gimmick might not be wholly appropriate for a wedding, her new husband and his army of friends looked like they found it hilarious.
Moments later, Lingstroem is seen performing the same act, this time accompanied by a little shimmy, a bouquet covering her most intimate area, and five bridesmaids.
The video quickly went viral, amassing thousands of views and hundreds of comments. However, it was not met with the humorous reception she was expecting.
One prude person penned: “If that happened on my wedding day, I would be angry.”
Someone else speculated whether their marriage would stand the test of time, quipping: “The quickest divorce I ever saw.”
Another person agreed, typing: “I don’t care, wedding would’ve been canceled.”
Plenty of people rushed to defend Lingstroem
Thankfully, not everyone saw the bride's pantie-showing party trick as grounds for annulment and flocked to the comments to defend her.
One supporter claimed: “Only jealous people will have negative things to say.”
Sharing their feelings about it, another person said: “I found this really funny. No one saw anything, and it was probably her friend behind the camera. I’m sure it will get saved for her and her husband as a funny picture.”
Noting how cruel other X users were to the newlywed, someone said: “Wow. These are all awful. They seem happy. Let her be.”
Quite rightly, another person added: “Oh please is that what everyone’s talking about?… Swimsuits get the same look.”
Although Lingstroem is reported to have made her account private before making it public again after deleting the video, she did not seem to have let the haters burst her newlywed bubble.
Taking the criticism on the chin, she captioned the video: “Smile as much as you can on your wedding day, and if you wanna do a flashing, go for it.”
