A man who cracked his skull open in a skateboarding accident in a near-death incident claims that he went to heaven and met Jesus.
Gabe Poirot was going at around 30mph on his skateboard before falling off, and because he wasn't wearing a helmet, his injuries were severe.
The then-20-year-old revealed that he'd suffered a traumatic brain injury and even ended up in a coma for 18 days, but that's not all.
He claimed that he witnessed something spiritual while being 'above his own body', where he allegedly met Jesus Christ.
Gabe recalled the Son of God having slightly curly hair while speaking on The Lila Rose podcast in May, noting that he was around six feet tall while having 'darker-toned skin', and 33 years of age.
But that's not all he remembered, as he opened up on the life-changing religious experience in an interview on Fox News, back in March.
He explained: "It was pretty wild because I was above my own body, I looked at it and said, 'Wow, that's me, but that's not me because I am fully alive now.' It was just my body. Like, that was it."
"Then I was suctioned up, not just to a place; the heaven I was headed for isn't just a destination. Heaven is a person," Gabe explained.
He recalled seeing Jesus 'everywhere', before going into detail: "The mountains and the trees,
"As the wind hits the leaves, they'll blow back and forth and they have a note to them. They'll sing 'worthy is the lamb'."
The term was repeated, as the American went on: "And then the waves and the rivers of the waters of life will receive that same note and they'll sing back, 'worthy is the lamb'."
In Christianity, the four-word phrase 'worthy is the lamb' is found in the Bible, in Revelation 5:12.
He then claimed that Jesus sent him back to his body on Earth, instructing him to 'tell people who I really am'.
Jesus then apparently told him to let his family know that he was 'coming back soon'.
Ginger, a close family friend of Gabe's, prayed for him while he was in a coma, and the latter says that it was these prayers which 'formed a bridge' to bring him back.
Speaking to the Christian Broadcasting Network, Ginger recalled: "I looked at him and I said, Gabe, you know my voice. You know, when I pray, I know you can hear me.
"I know you're unconscious, but I know that you know I'm here. I'm going to pray that you wake up. You've got to wake up. You cannot stay in this coma."
Gabe claims that he saw bridges being 'formed' and 'gathered', adding: "And then Jesus united himself with them, and they got bigger. And bigger and bigger."
He said that he saw prayers from those on Earth, such as Ginger, as well as his family and friends, revealing that they 'go right into the heart of Christ'.
