A woman has decided to pay over $11,000 to undergo a brutal forehead surgery, but it seems as though the results were totally worth it for her!

Now, in the age of social media and beauty trends, it's pretty normal to see people going through lengthy procedures in order to tweak insecurities associated with their appearances - and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, if that's something the person wants.

While we've seen more common things like lip filler and rhinoplasties, in videos posted to TikTok by Beth Halsey AKA @_hxlsey, we've just discovered that you can actually get size of your forehead amended...

But it might cost you a few thousand bucks.

Halsey, who is originally from Essex in the United Kingdom, underwent hairline lowering surgery in order to give the impression that her forehead was a few inches smaller.

She documented her entire experience, from meeting with her surgeon to going through all the potential options she had, as well as pre and post-surgery antics.

At first, she believed she would only have one option; a female hair transplant, but this is a procedure that she wouldn't be able to tolerate due to the three-month "growing out phase."

But after stumbling across a video posted by a Harley Street-based surgeon Dr Greg Bran, she realized that there were other options better suited for her, so she contacted the clinic and booked herself a consultation.

After making sure she was happy with what the surgery would consist of, Halsey was sent home for a two-week "cooling off period" in which she could decide whether she really wanted this or not but after suffering from the insecurity since she was a child, she decided to give it a shot.

And $11,000 later, she had an entirely new forehead!

Her hairline was brought much lower and the skin was stitched back up to remove the empty space in that area. She also underwent a brow lift to help with the illusion.

Speaking of the procedure on the British daytime TV show This Morning, the TikToker told the presenters that she was delighted with the results.

"Without being too dramatic, it's quite freeing," she said. I can be my true self and post pictures on Instagram."

Halsey admitted that she hid her forehead under a fringe for most of her life.

"For some people having a fringe is absolutely fine but for me it got to the point where I then started hating the fringe as well as the forehead," she continued. "I didn't want to be stuck with it forever."

She continued: "When people say 'there's nothing wrong with me' that's not the compliment people think it is. It comes across as quite patronizing. I know I don't have to have this surgery but it's going to change my life and it has."

She also confessed that she didn't know surgery was an option adding that she "learned about this surgery, looked into it, and went for the consultation and it was all amazing."

"They try to keep it looking natural and make sure your face still looks in proportion. My hairline was lowered by about an inch or just under," she added.

Halsey has documented her entire journey on TikTok and now seems to be more happy rocking a middle parting! Good on you, girl!
