A woman has left people disgusted after she appeared to smirk and smile during her trial for allegedly brutally stabbing a three-year-old boy to death.
Bionca Ellis, 32, is accused of killing three-year-old Julian Wood in an Ohio grocery store parking lot, and also wounding his 38-year-old mother Margot Wood.
Ellis was arrested after the attack which happened at around 3PM on June 3, outside a Giant Eagle in North Olmsted, outside Cleveland, with police saying they saw her holding a knife before she was taken into custody, according to WEWS.
Her behavior in court following what was described as a "random act of violence" has also left people shocked.

In video footage from the court, Ellis, who appeared with her hands cuffed behind her back, appeared to struggle to contain a smirk before smiling several times as the charges against her were read out.
She is facing ten criminal counts, including two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder, with the judge indicating on Monday that she could face the death penalty if convicted.
Ellis was also seen appearing to giggle as she was asked by Judge Nancy Russo if she was going to plead not guilty before replying "si", before eventually saying "yes" after being pressed by the judge.
After Ellis's appearance, Julian's devastated father Jared Wood addressed the judge, telling the court that Ellis "took everything from us."
He added: "There’s nothing that could ever replace my son. Just do whatever you can to keep this monster behind bars."
See the shocking footage below:The judge revealed that Ellis's bail had previously been set at $1 million, however, in light of Julian tragically passing away in the interim, it was revised to $5 million - the maximum possible.
The victims and the suspect did not know each other, according to a GoFundMe page, and it appeared to be a random attack.
The fundraising page wrote: "While Margot was opening the trunk of her car to put groceries away the woman viciously attacked and stabbed both Margot and Julian."
It added that Julian was a "sweet little boy" who was "obsessed" with his new baby sister and always wanted to wrestle with his older brother, as well as loving dinosaurs and school.

"Our family is overwhelmed with sadness… and overwhelmed with the loving support the community has already provided us," the page added.
"This will be an incredibly long journey to recovery, but truthfully we will never recover – but we will continue to share stories about our beautiful baby boy."
Over $253,000 has been raised for the family from an initial target of $10,000.
The pretrial will begin on June 17.
