The 69-year-old victim was a licensed professional counselor, providing counseling and psychotherapy to clients in the Baton Rouge area, per his obituary and practice website

His body was found by a passerby inside a trap rolled up on the side of Highway 51 between Fluker and the Village of Tangipahoa on September 29, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office revealed.

The sheriff’s office also disclosed that Abraham’s death was a homicide caused by blunt force trauma.

The 20-year-old content creator - who boasts 4.3 million followers - was apprehended in Texas on Tuesday (October 1) after being seen driving Abraham’s vehicle and trying to flee during a traffic stop.

He is being held without bond on a warrant from the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office for second-degree murder, obstruction of justice, unauthorized use of a vehicle, aggravated criminal damage to property, and resisting arrest, according to online jail records.

Law enforcement searched the suspect's home in Baton Rouge and found evidence indicating "a violent altercation had occurred inside" had taken place, per the arrest warrant, cited by CNN.

“A significant amount of blood was observed throughout the apartment, along with multiple sharp objects and other weapons. It should be noted that additional evidence indicated an apparent effort to discard evidence by cleaning the scene,” it read.

Surveillance footage showed the therapist arriving at Thomas’ apartment around 11:00AM on Saturday (September 28). In addition, witnesses alleged that they saw the TikToker struggling to drag an object wrapped in a tarp downstairs before placing it into Abraham’s car.

"It was a very physical and very violent attack," Tangipahoa Parish sheriff Gerald Sticker told local TV station, WAFB, per Sky News. "He was bludgeoned about in the head shoulders and neck."

A motive for the murder has yet to be disclosed by the authorities, and it is not immediately known whether Abraham and Thomas knew each other.

The TikTok personality remains in custody in Dallas, Texas, awaiting extradition to Louisiana.
