Spiders aren't exactly one of the more popular animals on the planet with their googly eyes and long, spindly legs, however, when it comes to disliking them, some people are much bigger arachnophobes than others.
Case in point, this woman who refused to drive for a whole week after finding a huge spider hiding in her car's door handle.
This spider was filmed spinning a web inside a woman's ear:

However, in defense of Christine Jones, this wasn't just any spider, but a giant one that made itself at home in the handle of her car in New South Wales, Australia.
Thankfully, Christine spotted the spider before she attempted to open her car door and narrowly avoided an up close and personal encounter with the arachnid.
She subsequently took pictures of the beast and uploaded them to the Australian Spider Identification Page on Facebook where she explained that, at a first glance, she thought what she was seeing were "hairy caterpillars".

She added that she was so freaked out by the incident that it took her a whole week before she was able to work up the courage to drive again.
Understandably, Christine's nightmare post did not go unnoticed on the social media website, and at the time of writing, it has been liked over 1.6K times and shared over 2.1K times.
One bemused Facebook user wrote: "Omg i thought it was a giant spider like out of Harry Potter that was looking out of a half cracked window of the car!!! [sic]"
Alongside a laughing emoji, a second wrote: "Love it! Now I have to watch 8 Legged Freaks tonight, thanks to your camera work."
A third added: "Great another spot I have to check when entering my car besides the sun visors!!!! [sic]"
Meanwhile, a fourth speculated as to the spider's breed, writing: "Looks like a male huntsman, could be wrong though!"
However, this is far from the first time that someone has found an Aragog-esque spider lurking in their personal space, and one Reddit user recently took to the social media user to share that he found one in the back of his yard!
