A gorgeous pitbull who spent over 400 days at an animal shelter has finally been given a forever home.
Her name is Lola and she was being looked after at the Humane Society of Wickenburg in Arizona, where she spent hundreds of days waiting for a loving family to care for her.
After being transferred to the Arizona Humane Society (AHS) in Phoenix, Lola eventually met her new family.
The Arizona Humane Society have since posted a couple of photos of Lola with her new family, writing in the caption: "AMAZING PUP-DATE! Last week we shared the story of a very special dog named Lola."
It adds: "After more than 400+ days at the Humane Society of Wickenburg Lola was transferred to the Arizona Humane Society for a change of scenery in hopes of finally finding her forever home."
"We are happy to share, after less than 24 hours at AHS, Lola was adopted!!!"
It continues: "This lucky 2-year-old Pittie is now residing with her new family in Mesa, AZ, and is a perfect example of the importance of collaboration between rescues and shelters to help save as many homeless pets’ lives as possible!"
"Just this year alone, AHS has transferred in almost 900 pets in need from other shelters, just like Lola, through its Project Reachout Program. We couldn’t be happier for this sweet girl and her new family!"Related Video - Check out the incredible moment Cora, the two-legged dog learns to bounce around:
