We all remember the late great Steve Irwin. He was adored worldwide for his passion for wildlife and nature, hanging out with some of the rarest and most deadly creatures the world has ever seen.

The daring conservationist was in his element whilst in the company of such creatures, despite being well aware of the potential dangers. He never let anything get in the way of his passion - and it was a lesson in perseverance that many of us benefitted from.

Tragically, Steve died in 2006 at the age of 44 when a stingray stung him in the chest whilst in the middle of filming.

And although it has now been more than a decade since his death, Steve's family are still working hard to keep his legacy alive - and even have their own wildlife-centric reality series show Crikey! It’s the Irwins.

In fact, to say that the youngest of Steve's two kids, 15-year-old Robert, caught the wildlife bug would be an understatement as his work with animals has already seen him win various awards.

The teenager often shares his striking wildlife photography on his Instagram page where he has over a million followers.

In his most recent post, he recreated an iconic shot of his father feeding a crocodile and had the picture taken in the exact same spot as the original.

"Dad and me feeding Murray… same place, same croc – two photos 15 years apart," Robert wrote in the caption.

And, of course, fans were overjoyed by the sentimental post.

"This is truly everything! Your Dad must be overjoyed to see you literary walk in his footsteps!" one follower wrote.

"I think the whole world would agree, your dad would be super proud of you," another added. "Keep on rocking, man."

"well I didn’t expect to cry at 7:30 on a Wednesday morning but here why are," wrote a third.
