Arnold Schwarzenegger's son, Joseph Baena, has revealed that his father stopped financially supporting him after he graduated college.

The 24-year-old is the son of the Terminator star and his former housekeeper, Mildred Baena. Baena found out the 74-year-old Hollywood icon was his dad back in 2011 from his grandmother and has since said that the revelation "transformed" his life.

The college graduate has followed in his father's footsteps and aspires to be an actor and a bodybuilder. however, he currently works in real estate - a job that helps pay the bills after his financial support from the actor ended.

"I’m really grateful that my dad helped me get through college," Baena said on the Unwaxed Podcast. "But right when college was done, it was just like, 'You go. You’re on your own.' I was like, 'Oh, s**t'," he added.

Baena currently works at the Los Angeles realty firm ARIA Properties, and he said the job allows him to support himself after finishing his studies.

"I needed a job, and I was not getting any of the acting roles that I thought I was going to get," he said. "I was like, 'I need to do something', so I started interning at this real estate company."

Initially, he interned with the company in hopes of earning a steady paycheck. However, he soon discovered a passion for working in real estate, and eventually got his license.

Baena's license now allows him to legally sell, broker, or rent real estate to prospective tenants and buyers. Earlier this year, he celebrated selling his first home and shared a photo of himself outside the property on his Instagram.

However, Beana said he still dreams of becoming a Hollywood star like his Austrian-American actor and dreams of starring in big films.

"I just love having a goal and then going for it," he said. "With acting, I know that my goal is to be a reputable actor and win some awards."

The real estate agent was featured in Men’s Health magazine's March issue and explained how the news of his A-list father began to spread in high school.

"I remember the day very vividly," he said. "I was in the eighth grade. Fifth or sixth period. And I get called out of class to leave. And my mom’s there, and she’s like, 'We gotta go - everyone is finding out about you and who your father is.'"

Beana said that news trucks swarmed his family's house and photographers hounded them. "I’m 13," he recalled. "Your body’s transforming; your mind is transforming. And now my life transformed before my eyes."

In January, Beana explained in an interview with Inside Edition why he has decided not to take the former California governor's surname.

"Well I already have a last name, and I don't have a problem with my last name," he disclosed. "I like my last name."
