In recent weeks, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been hitting the headlines thanks to the younger generation. This is in part due to his decision to gift his ''hero'' Greta Thunberg an electric car and, later, going on a bike ride with the young climate change activist.

Now, Schwarzenegger's 22-year-old son has garnered the attention of the internet because of his remarkable resemblance to his father.

In the video below, Arnold Schwarzenegger proves that he's still in great shape at 72:

Taking to Instagram, Joseph Baena who is also an actor, shared a picture of himself showing off his sizeable muscles, and it's safe to say that the 22-year-old bears more than an uncanny resemblance to his father in his weightlifting heyday.

He captioned the impressive snap, which was taken for an Instagram challenge, "Got nominated for the #classicchallenge by @dakota_stinson_ , so HERE YA GO! I nominate @mattmichaelk @zachandrews__ & @bradleymartyn hit your favorite classic pose!"

Now, if this isn't giving you serious Terminator flashbacks, I don't know what will.

Joseph was born from an affair Schwarzenegger had with his housekeeper, Mildred Baena. His parentage was kept a secret until 2011 - a day after Schwarzenegger left his role as Governor of California. His then-wife, Maria Shriver, filed for divorce shortly before the revelation became public knowledge.

Speaking of his infidelity, he told Men's Journal: "You do think about it every so often. And I can beat myself up as much as I want - it's not gonna change the situation. So the key thing is, how do you move forward? How do you have a great relationship with your kids?"

In a 2012 interview with 60 Minutes, Schwarzenegger said of his youngest son: "The important thing that everyone should know is that I take care of him and I take care of [his mother]. And I fulfill my responsibility and I’m glad to do that."
