Jackass star Bam Margera has been found by authorities after escaping from rehab.

The 42-year-old stuntman fled a Florida rehab facility on Monday and was missing for two days before local police picked him up in Delray Beach.

According to a report by TMZ, Margera was sober and cooperative when he was collected by cops and a crisis intervention team. They returned him to the nearby rehab facility he had been staying at.

MailOnline reports that the father-of-one was checked into the Delray Beach rehab facility to complete a court-ordered program last September. Authorities escorted him to the treatment center after getting a call about an "emotionally distressed person".

During his stay there, Margera appeared to be doing well and getting his life back on track. Last month, he celebrated "one year of treatment" for drug and alcohol abuse in an Instagram post, sharing a black and white snap of himself with "1 year!" written on his hand.

However, recent reports suggest that the skateboarder was having trouble with the facility. After breaking his right wrist and dislocating his right elbow, Margera reportedly refused pain medication for fear it would interfere with his sobriety. However, he then blamed the rehab staff for not organizing physical therapy appointments for him.

Tensions came to a head at the start of this week when - according to TMZ - the 42-year-old told management he was "unsatisfied" with the rules at the center, and fled.

Margera did not make an overt effort to evade authorities during his two-day stint on the run. He was active on social media the entire time, sharing a selfie of himself, his wife Nicole Boyd, and rapper Machine Gun Kelly to his Instagram story. MGK was performing a concert in Florida on Tuesday night.

He also shared a snap of himself with his new AA sponsor, in an Instagram that he captioned: "MMA fighter, chiropractor and ten years sober Dominick, is my new AA sponsor."

After just a few days out of rehab, the stunt man was collected by authorities and taken back to the facility he escaped, where he'll continue treatment.
