Bam Margera has shared images of him going through detox with support from former athlete Lamar Odom.

The Jackass star has had an intense few months, having been placed on a 5150 hold by authorities and being involved in a bitter custody battle with his ex-wife over his son Phoenix. In fact, last week the 43-year-old issued an alarming and shocking threat on social media to his ex-wife in regard to their son, saying that the drama was driving him to abuse alcohol.

Margera's ex-wife, Nicole Boyd, filed for divorce this February citing irreconcilable differences, and asked the court to award her $15,000 a month child support, as well as legal and physical custody of their child.

As they share child, the embattled former reality TV star claimed in an explosive rant shared on social media that Boyd has cut off his contact with their son over the past two months.

According to TMZ, the professional skateboarder said: "This is an official message to anybody that cares about me whatsoever. I haven't seen Phoenix in two f****** months and I am so f****** fed up. I cry every day, I miss him so much and I know I have to wake up every day knowing that I probably won't get to talk to him or see him."

He said that his former wife, his mom, and his "pep-talking dad who tells me nothing" were driving him to drink. He also added a heartbreaking threat, saying: "I am going to smoke cr**k with the bums down at the boardwalk until I am dead or unless you deliver me f****** Phoenix. So get to work Nicki or anybody that wants to help. I want Phoenix."

It was not long after this social media rant that Margera was found after an appeal by his brother Jess Margera for help locating him and was promptly put on a 5150 hold - which is the number of the section of the Welfare and Institutions Code.

This is a legal action in California law that allows an adult who is experiencing a mental health crisis to be involuntarily detained for a 72-hour psychiatric hospitalization, per Treatment Specialists.

Now, Margera has taken to social media to reveal that he's detoxing with the help of Lamar Odom, who himself has had a troubled history with drugs and alcohol.

TMZ reports that Odom is helping Margera through his detox and rehab process, and was pictured sitting at his bedside.

In the images, Margera is in a hospital bed and hooked up to several monitors as he poses with the former NBA star. After detox, it's expected that Margera will head to a facility owned by Odom.

Here's to hoping Margera will be getting the best care as he starts his journey to recovery.
