Bhad Bhabie has opened up about the effect OnlyFans has had on her life, including saving her from being 'broke'.

The adult content creator, 20, found fame after her appearance on Dr. Phil went viral in 2016 when she was just 13 years old, after she called out the audience that had booed her by challenging them to "catch me outside, how 'bout that?".

The troubled teen turned her viral fame into a lucrative career, first dipping her toe into becoming a rapper, releasing singles including 'These Heaux' and 'Gucci Flip Flops'.

Once she turned 18, Bhad Bhabie - real name Danielle Bregoli - turned her hand to starting an OnlyFans account, where she claimed she made over $52million between April 2021 and April 2022.

Danielle opened up about the way OnlyFans saved her from going 'broke' despite her fame, after claiming that she saw barely any of the money she made from her music.

She explained on Emily Ratajkowski's High/Low podcast: "I wasn’t really thinking much of it at the time, but I was actually broke as f**k, I barely had s**t  [before I started OnlyFans].

"My mom [Barbara Bregoli] was in control of my money, so she was doing whatever she wanted to do, and I had a $500 limit on my card."

She revealed that she saw OnlyFans as the "light at the end of the tunnel" to getting her financial independence after she and her manager tapped into the lucrative market.

Addressing the huge success and the riches that immediately came when she launched her account, she added: "It just kept coming and coming, I was just like, 's**t.'"

Danielle added that it was a "group decision" to launch her OnlyFans, after she asked her manager to help her get $3million to put aside into a savings account, as well as $100,000 each month to use.

She revealed that the money instantly came flooding in allowing her to achieve those targets, leaving her blown away by how easily it had come.

When asked what her mom thought about the way she was earning her money, Danielle joked: "That lady love money. She don't care where it comes from!"

While Danielle has made a fortune from $23.99-a-month OnlyFans subscribers, she warned that making such a huge sum isn't always easy unless you have a platform to begin with.

She explained: "It doesn't go like that for everybody. I've had people come up to me and say, 'I'm just going to do it like you do it.' And I'm like, 'Ahhh noooo.'

"It's situational. I was kept covered up for so long, right, with how they were making me dress and s**t. And I was young. It's creepy but at the same time...18 is 18. That's what they said it was, so that's what they said it was.

"Do I think it's a billion percent okay? No. But at the same time, it's like if they ain't going to find it here, they'll find it somewhere."
