Bruce Willis' wife has taken to social media and admitted that she's "not good" amid her husband's dementia struggle.

Emma Heming Willis took to Instagram to provide fans with an update on her husband's condition after he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.

Back in March, the 44-year-old told fans that her husband had been diagnosed with the disease following his aphasia diagnosis in 2022.

While of course the family was devastated over the news, they were relieved to have a clear diagnosis despite the heartbreak that came with it.

She said at the time: "Since we announced Bruce's diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce's condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD).

"Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis."

She continued: "Bruce always believed in using his voice in the world to help others, and to raise awareness about important issues both publicly and privately."

Heming Willis also addressed the actor's fans, stating that she and the family were thankful for the outpouring of support during this difficult time.

"Bruce has always found joy in life – and has helped everyone he knows to do the same," Heming Willis added. "It has meant the world to see that sense of care echoed back to him and to all of us. We have been so moved by the love you have all shared for our dear husband, father, and friend during this difficult time."

"Your continued compassion, understanding, and respect will enable us to help Bruce live as full a life as possible," she concluded.

Since then, the 44-year-old, who shares two children with the Die Hard actor, has been keeping fans in the loop on Willis' condition via social media and more recently she shared an emotional post about the difficulties of being a sole caregiver.

After previously stating that the 68-year-old's condition was deteriorating, Heming Willis admitted that she was "not good."

Check out what she had to say:

"I know it looks like I’m out living my best life - I have to make a conscious effort every single day to live the best life that I can," she explained. "I do that for myself. I do that for our two children. And Bruce, who would not want me to live any other way. So I don’t want it to be misconstrued."

The former model started tearing up as she said that she's doing her best to remain strong given the circumstances.

"I have to put my best foot forward for the sake of myself and of my family," she continued. "When we are not looking after ourselves, we cannot look after anyone that we love. So it’s really important."

She urged those who are also facing a similar situation to remember to prioritize self-care.

"I know your day is stressful, and I know that your day is hard, but I just want you to break it up for a minute, and just look for something beautiful," she added.

Our thoughts are with Heming Willis and her family during this difficult time . We hope that her husband's condition improves in the near future.
