Emma Heming Willis, the wife of legendary actor Bruce Willis, has been celebrating her husband's career with their two daughters this past weekend.
Emma, 45, visited the Die Hard hero's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, followed by a trip to his waxwork at Madame Tussauds on Hollywood Boulevard. Her celebration was also enjoyed by the pair's daughters Evelyn Penn, 9, and Mabel Ray, 11.
Taking to her Instagram story, Emma posted heartwarming videos of her children's excitement over seeing their dad immortalized at the two iconic spots in Los Angeles.
"Guys, it's dad," come the cries when Evelyn and Mabel see their father's waxwork sculpture at Madame Tussauds, before Evelyn stands in front of Bruce, in full Die Hard John McClane attire and warns: "You better be on your best behavior!"
The story, captioned "When In Hollywood", then went on to show the trio's last visit to Tussauds in 2018. During that trip Emma planted a kiss on her wax husband's cheek while her daughters held their dad's hand, as he peered heroically into the middle distance, gun holstered, like he's just seen the waxwork Hans Gruber about to hold all the other sculptures hostage.
Emma has been married to the Pulp Fiction star since 2009. Last year, the family shared the news that the 68-year-old actor had been diagnosed with aphasia - a condition that leaves people unable to comprehend or unable to formulate language because of damage to specific regions of the brain.
In February of this year, however, it was revealed that Bruce had further been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. There has been an outpouring of support for the Golden Globe winner ever since, with ex-wife Demi Moore and their children - Rumer, Scout and Tallulah - posting videos to social media featuring their father, who always appears to be in high spirits.
Following Bruce's initial aphasia diagnosis in 2022, his wife shared what their daughter, Evelyn, did when she found out the news. Via People.com, in a series of posts to her Instagram, Emma revealed that Evelyn researched "fun facts about dementia" during her free time at school and learned that people with dementia "can become severely dehydrated."
"And she really is her father's child," Emma wrote on Instagram, "because these two love some random facts. So I said to her, 'Evelyn, we will always make sure Daddy has a bottle of water in hand. Thank you for letting me know. But that is the most loving and compassionate thing that you can do, is to be curious and educate yourself on your dad's disease.'"
Despite his career winding down in his later years before his diagnosis, Willis is regarded as one of the greatest action stars of all time and also has a Golden Globe and two Emmys to his name for his TV roles.
